We can’t recommend Coltsford Mill enough!! It is an outstanding wedding venue that exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we first visited, we were captivated by its stunning setting. Beautiful grounds with lakes, streams and waterfall which create a magical atmosphere and beautiful photo locations.
What truly sets Coltsford Mill apart, though, is the incredible events planning team. Jo, Nikki, and Jan are simply superb. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made the entire planning process effortless and enjoyable. They were always on hand to offer support, advice, and reassurance, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. They genuinely care about making your day special, and it shows in everything they do.
The food was another standout element. Every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious – our guests are still talking about how amazing the meal was! From canapés to dessert, the quality and service were flawless.
On the big day, everything ran like clockwork. The team coordinated everything seamlessly, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy the celebration. The layout of the venue flows perfectly, with space to celebrate, dine, and dance the night away.
We truly had the most perfect day at Coltsford Mill. If you’re looking for a venue that combines breath-taking surroundings, exceptional service, and a truly personal touch, look no further. Coltsford Mill is wedding perfection.

Honestly blown away! The team at Coltsford Mill is what helped us decide this was the place for us to get married! The team made us feel comfortable, heard and understood every single time we spoke to them! Every request we had, every email or meeting was met with kindness and professionalism. The venue itself is stunning, all aspects! The grounds and ponds especially! We loved the fishing, as that was my grandads hobby! He would have loved it! The food was unreal! So much we had extra desserts for us in the fridge in the cottage! The catering team were amazing with allergies and produced outstanding food! If you're looking for something a little bit different e.g. the Mill Room which has a very intimate and different background setting this place is perfect for you. Thank you so much Coltsford! We wish we could do it all again 💕 -

We got married at Coltsford Mill in December last year and had the best day ever! The event team were highly professional, approachable, calm and just generally amazing from the moment we met back in April, right the way through to our big day and beyond! I felt completely secure in the knowledge that Jo, Jan, Nikki, Jacqueline and the rest of the dream team were there to support and ensure our day ran smoothly. No request went unanswered and I always felt that I could get in touch without inconveniencing them.
On my wedding day both James & I managed to lose our print outs of speeches and Jo was able to rustle up a couple of spare copies in a matter of seconds. The catering team also ensured that we had our share of canapés during the reception, which is definitely needed with a busy day of celebrating ahead!
The food was impeccable, the drinks were very reasonably priced and honestly I cannot recommend them enough, the team made my day perfect and I’ll remember it fondly forever x -

Paul Sent on 28/11/2025Our Venetian Masquerade Wedding Dream at Coltsford Mill
We got married at Coltsford Mill on 31st October 2025, and it was a truly magical experience in such a beautiful venue.
From the very start, Jo and her team were incredibly responsive. Communication was quick and reassuring, and we felt genuinely supported throughout the planning process.
As the groom, with a background in Event Production, my bride and I had the idea to celebrate in style with a Venetian Masquerade theme. Although it was ambitious with only a few hours to set up, I immediately sensed that Jo and her team would be brilliant to work with in transforming the space — and they absolutely delivered. Everything came together beautifully on the day.
On the day itself, everything ran smoothly and on time, with calm professionalism throughout. The team handled special requests, last-minute changes, and weather-plan contingencies brilliantly, so once the room changes were in place and our themed production was set, we could simply enjoy ourselves.
The venue is stunning. The ceremony room feels intimate and cosy with terrific views, a gorgeous layout, and really convenient accommodation for the bride and groom just metres away from the main guest areas.
Our guests especially loved the in-house catering, from the delicious canapés to the seated three-course dinner — we received so many compliments. Portion sizes were very generous, and the Coltsford Mill F&B team were constantly on hand for anything we or our guests needed.
In terms of value, Coltsford Mill was very reasonably priced, and having in-house catering made everything feel straightforward, transparent, and easy to coordinate. The only small thing to be aware of is that the outside reception area doesn’t fully offer wet-weather cover in the event of a sudden downpour — which, sadly, we experienced briefly! Even so, it didn’t take away from the day.
Overall, Coltsford Mill gave us the day we hoped for and more. We’d wholeheartedly recommend it to couples who want an exclusive venue space they can truly make their own and feel genuinely special. Thank you for making it unforgettable! -

We happened upon Coltsford Mill as it was close to our home and very well served by railway for some of our guests.
We met Jo by appointment and we couldn’t have been happier. We didn’t want a large venue-we wanted something cozy and comfortable. They were so flexible to our requirements-nothing was too much trouble.
In the run up to our date we were invited to a tasting evening which was extremely helpful at deciding what we wanted. The day was absolutely perfect-sadly not the weather-i couldn’t wished for a better wedding day -

What can I say about Coltsford Mill? Jo and the team were fantastic from the start. We wanted to have our day be slightly different to the norm, we only wanted a handful of guests come in the day time, with the rest of our guests arriving in the evening, Jo and the team were incredibly accommodating with our requests and the day itself went by perfectly. They were great communicators, replying within a day.
The food was beyond all of our expectations, we had charcuterie and cheeseboards served at lunch, accompanied by sausage rolls, and quiches. It was by far the best lunch I've had in a while.
The canapes and evening BBQ was delicious and feedback from our guests was extremely positive. Jo also kindly put out the leftover cheese and meat in the evening.
I can't recommend Coltsford Mill enough, the venue is stunning, the team are amazing, and to top it all off they actually care, they want you to have the best day of your lives.Coltsford Mill's reply:

We had the best day ever at Coltsford Mill. I could not recommend them enough. From start to finish, our entire journey was perfect. Nothing was too much, everything was triple checked but most importantly everything was done with such personable kind compassion and love towards us and our day. You truly did make our day amazing!
