Summer garden wedding
Emma and I attended a wedding open day at Castle Green and from the second we walked in we knew it was for us.
Amazing scenery for our garden wedding really topped the day off and the venue staff were all brilliant throughout the booking and planning stages to the special day! -

Over the weekend of Friday 24th and Saturday 25th October, my daughter got married at the Castle Green.
From arriving on Friday afternoon, until we left on Sunday afternoon, the staff were exceptional.
On initial arrival the staff at reception were extremely helpful in getting us booked in, as was Hannah the wedding planner. Throughout the weekend Hannah was on hand, and always responded promptly to any requests and made things happen, with nothing being too much trouble for her.
On the Friday night 22 of us ate in Alexanders, and as we found in the main hotel, the staff in Alexanders were great. They really looked after us, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
On the Saturday Christine was really helpful in ensuring the ceremony and wedding reception ran without issue, and like Hannah, was really helpful and very professional. The staff waiting on at the wedding reception were very attentive, and the meal was excellent.
We had a number of family members and friends who stayed overnight, many who had not visited the Castle Green before, and all commented on how much they had enjoyed the wedding and their overnight stay.
A big part of that was due to the staff. Right from the outset as I have commented on above, the reception staff were very helpful, and that flowed through to those serving breakfast or behind the bar, at the wedding reception, and the cleaning staff etc.
We had a fantastic weekend, and all the team at The Castle Green contributed towards that. -

We approached Castle Green after receiving one of the worst possible news, our venues went bankrupt, we found out via facebook. Hanna booked us in the same day, we went with the parents to desperately find an alternative. In all honestly, it was an upgrade, nothing was too much trouble and we could tell pretty much right away we were in safe hands. Hanna listened and wanted to get every detail right, we trusted her.
The day came all of a sudden, and honestly Castle green was a fantastic venue. The food was exceptional, every single guest commented on the canapes, meal and those fish and chips! Everything ran smoothly on the day thanks to Chris and Hanna. People commented it was one of the best weddings they had been to.
He runs a tight ship, getting everything sorted and keeping you updated on the day. We were really impressed.
We won't forget our experience and want to come back to celebrate on our anniversary.
Though it rained, our day was not dampened. Thank you Hanna, Chris and Castle green. -

Blown away
Castle green were incredible . Amanda and Christine catered for our every need and gave us the most wonderful day.
On the build up nothing was too much trouble - Amanda was in touch all the way through the planning making sure we had every detailed covered.
On the day the whole Castle Green wedding team were available and running around to make sure everything went as planned.
They were friendly, kind and just wonderful. I would highly recommend this venue for your perfect wedding.

From the moment we started our journey with the castle green hotel it's been an absolute pleasure!!!!
We met with Hanna and informed her of all our ideas. As this wasn't a traditional wedding but a vow renewal it was all about my ideas. Hanna was soooo communicative, I was able to call and email whenever I had questions or queries. Which was often.
We stayed in the hotel the night before and night of. Hanna got us upgraded to the executive suite which was absolutely amazing and soooo soo kind!!!! It was Spacious and had a corner sofa 🥰.. the staff all did what they could for us on the day and it was a great day had by all! Hanna popped in too see us before she finished her shift which I thought was really nice . Kind of like a, I started this I want to see how it ends. Came back to the room the night of and we had a card and a castle green hotel chocolate bar from Hanna and staff. Lovely touch! I honestly couldn't recommend Hanna and the castle green hotel enough! It was absolutely amazing, and I'm so glad I chose here to do our renewal..

What a day, everything went so well thanks to the staff at castle green hotel.
We had the most wonderful time, we had lots of compliments from our guests saying how professional the staff were. They were so helpful with everything, accommodating with all our requests just making the day perfect
The food was delicious and the service was excellent,
A wonderful experience for us and everyone who came to our wedding -

We had our wedding here and we couldn't have picked a better venue at all, such a wonderful hotel with incredibly accommodating staff and exceptional service.
We'd like to give a special mention to Hanna and Christine who made the whole day run smoothly and not a single thing could have made it any more perfect.
The rooms are fantastic with everything you need and the 'Garden View' rooms are absolutely stunning. We ate in the restaurant and at Alexanders, the onsite pub, and both have excellent food and service.
This place has become somewhere very special to us and we can't wait to come and stay again. -

Amazing from start to finish!
We had our wedding here on 14th September 2024. We had a fantastic experience the whole way through. Hanna was absolutely brilliant with helping us plan the whole day and making sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. We had Anne as our wedding host on the day. It was her first solo wedding and she honestly could not have done a better job. All of our guests mentioned how amazing she was, she really made the day what she was we couldn't have asked for a better host! -

Absolutely amazing day at Castle Green Jotel for our wedding day, the staff couldn’t of done anymore for us an I’m genuinely so greatful to them all especially Hana our wedding coordinator & Christine our wedding host who was amazing an made the day run so smoothly! I can’t thank them enough! Would recommend Castle Green to anyone planning their wedding day! -
