We had the most magical wedding, surrounded by an atmosphere that perfectly blended family warmth with understated luxury. Everything felt effortless yet thoughtful, and for one day, the château felt as if it were entirely ours. Our guests shared the same feeling. What made this place truly special was its authenticity and intimacy, creating a dreamlike experience that felt both exceptional and deeply personal. -

We had the absolute best weekend of our entire lives. We'd love to do it all again! 3 days of pure magic, all of our family and friends are still talking about it months afterwards and will be for a long time to come. From start to finish it was amazing, from the pizza party to the wedding day to the pool party, we just didn't want it to end! The staff were honestly unbelievable, they thought of everything and made every little thing unforgettable. We had free rein of the castle so it was like we had picked up all of our family and friends and dropped them in a little bubble of paradise for the weekend. The pool, the spa, the food and the music - everything was perfect. We can't recommend Castello and its fabulous staff highly enough. To any couples who haven't yet chosen a venue, we almost envy you the chance to have your wedding in Castello because we'd give anything to do it all over again! Thank you SO much to Eva, David and all the staff who made our dreams come true❤️ -

We celebrated our wedding weekend at Castello di Montignano in September, and we could not have wished for a better place or a better team.
The weekend started with a welcome pizza party, which was the perfect relaxed way to bring everyone together. We unfortunately had rain the night before the wedding, but the team had an easy alternative ready right away and we still had the best time. The wedding day itself was everything we had hoped for, and on Sunday we wrapped things up with a pool day full of games and floating animals, which our guests are still talking about. The drinks were great all weekend long!
What we loved most was that we could truly relax and enjoy every moment. From the first calls to the very last day, Eva, David and the team were incredibly attentive, calm and always had our backs. They took care of every question and made sure everything ran smoothly. Their own staff was fantastic throughout, so warm and attentive to us and all our guests.
The food deserves a special mention. We are quite spoiled when it comes to food, and the kitchen still impressed us. The menu is super flexible, you can share all your wishes and try lots of dishes in person beforehand. My personal favourite was the Bolognese, while my husband couldn’t get enough of the appetisers. And the Sunday brunch even exceeded our expectations!
A destination wedding is always an investment, but we felt we got our money’s worth. We always knew what would cost what, and the transparency throughout, along with their generosity and flexibility at the end, showed us that we were never just a number to them.
For guests, there are lovely hotels nearby. In true Italian style, you sometimes have to follow up once or twice, but the hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole area feel like part of the celebration.
On Sunday night, once everyone had gone to bed, my husband turned to me and said: “We did it, this was the best weekend ever.” We couldn’t sum it up better. Thank you so much for everything! -

Exceeding All Our Expectations for the the Best Wedding Weekend
We are so glad to have chosen to have our wedding at Castello di Montignano in May 2026! The castle and the surrounding grounds are even more beautiful in person compared to the photos and everyone we worked with made the planning process from abroad so easy for us!
Right from the beginning, the staff at CDM were professional, attentive, and responsive, making sure they understood exactly what we wanted for our wedding weekend. The working technical document was easy to use and allowed us to be prescriptive in communicating our wishes. On the day, David and Eva handled everything from our vendors to managing the timeline and guests which meant we could truly enjoy the weekend without any stress. The food is fantastic, the accommodation was comfortable, and the team are so organised and really went above and beyond to ensure we had the perfect wedding weekend.
Overall, we would definitely recommend CDM as a wedding venue and we are truly grateful for the entire team for delivering our wedding vision! -

We honestly cannot recommend this venue highly enough! From our very first enquiry, the team made us feel genuinely welcomed and excited about the possibility of hosting our wedding there. There was never any pressure to book, just a real willingness to get to know us, understand our vision and help us create the day we dreamed of.
As we were planning a destination wedding, we had lots of questions and queries along the way, but nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Once we had booked, the communication was fantastic, and we always felt supported and in the safest hands.
One of the highlights of the planning process was getting to visit the venue a few days beforehand for our menu tasting. This made the whole experience even more special, giving us the opportunity to spend time at the venue, go through all our plans and ideas in detail, and start to picture everything coming to life. Seeing it all come together on the day was truly incredible.
Every member of staff we dealt with was so polite, attentive and genuinely lovely. The service was exceptional, and the food was absolutely fantastic. It was clear how much care and attention had gone into every detail, and we could not have asked for more.
Our wedding was the most incredible experience, and we honestly loved every minute of it, both the planning process and the day itself. We are so grateful to the entire team for everything they did to make our wedding so special and create memories that we will cherish forever.
Thank you for playing such a huge part in one of the happiest times of our lives. We will always look back on our wedding with the biggest smiles, and we would recommend this venue to anyone looking for somewhere truly special to celebrate their big day!

It is honestly quite hard to put into words how grateful we are for everything you have done. We had the very best time over our wedding weekend and all of our guests said it was the best wedding they have been to. We are still on cloud 9 and it makes us so happy but emotional everytime we talk about the wedding.
You all ensured everything ran so smoothly and were so professional. Nothing was too much of an ask and you were so accomodating and flexible. You made us and all our guests feel so welcome and so many people commented on how great you both were but also the rest of the team. I am sorry for all the last minute questions, requests and panic but thank you for guiding us through the whole process in such a calm way. We are so appreciative.
We really had the very best time and will never ever forget it. Thank you so much for the gift of the fireworks (Martin was so shocked!!) and also for the special gift you gave us when we were leaving.
You gave us the wedding of our dreams and we cannot thank you enough ❤️❤️❤️

Castello Di Montignano is the Perfect Destination Wedding!
When booking a destination wedding, the biggest fear is the unknown of what type of service each venue truly provides.
There are beautiful venues all over the world, but it is the team behind the venue that is what makes weddings truly special.
The team at Castello Di Montignano set the gold standard for this.
We identified a short list of venues and Guiseppe's team responded immediately with incredible attention to detail. We instantly trusted them.
We were told we would be the King and Queen of the castle and there was not one single point where we did not feel like this.
Often people asked us about the stress of planning a destination wedding…in all honesty, with this team it was easy. Clear, honest and transparent communication was provides at all times. This relieved us of all stress associated to planning and executing a destination wedding.
The food and wine tasting trip is the most magical reason for pre-wedding long weekend…everything comes to life when you meet this amazing team in person and explore the venue for the first time.
Eva, David and the entire team held our hand at all times when completing the wedding technical document and structuring our dream wedding. No request was ever too much to ask…which was pretty crazy considering they had on average of 3 weddings a week there from April onwards!
Planning is one thing, execution is another. It was flawless. If there was even the slightest hiccup (it’s a 3 day wedding, there will always be some type of late drama!) David was on hand to iron it out immediately. We had a small hiccup with the band that we selected and David and Eva jumped in immediately to let my Wife and I focus on our big day.
The whole team spoilt us and our guests. Feedback from our guests was that it was the wedding of the year.
There is an aura of energy at Castello Di Montagano that just makes it impossible to not have fun and create the most magical memories.
Thank you Guiseppe, Eva, David and the entire team, we cannot wait to visit for an anniversary year or perhaps even a big birthday celebration sometime in the future….
P.S when they say you can ask for anything you want, they REALLY mean it! Also, if you are contemplating the fireworks….just do it.

Fantastic Wedding Celebration
Amazing venue and an amazing team. Very professional and friendly throughout the experience, always found time to schedule in calls during the preparation process to assist with every query. Food, drink and service was exceptional value. Would absolutely recommend. -
