Our dream venue
We got married here July 18th 2026. We fell in love the first time we visited in 2024, because we wanted something that was special and unique and this space truly is. It’s not a copy and paste or super commercial looking, it has beautiful textures and colours and is one of a kind.
We had the venue of Friday to set up and again everywhere you looked it was beyond stunning, our families fell in love when they visited as did all of our guests. We couldn’t have dreamt of a more perfect venue.
That paired with meeting Alex meant we instantly knew it was for us. Alex was super helpful and relaxed, she is so friendly and that’s why I didn’t pop 5 for professional, because it wasn’t super formal but in the best way. Instead Alex was easy going and keen to let you make the venue as you want it to suit your special occasion. Similarly, her response, she is always easy to get a hold of and obviously wanted to make sure the day was best for us.

I can’t recommend Camlad Barns highly enough. Alex & John are so friendly, welcoming and professional but most of all they are incredibly flexible, allowing you to create the wedding you envisage. Camlad Barns has so many options in that there are so many places you can get married, either inside or outside, the photo opportunities are endless and the views are second to none. If you want a wedding that is unique to you must check out Camlad Barns and you will fall in love with it as we did xCamlad Barns's reply:

Alex and her husband went above and beyond to ensure our day went smoothly, especially considering a few last minute changes due to Storm Amy. Honestly, a beautiful venue with extremely kind and thoughtful owners. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue. ❤️Camlad Barns's reply:

Perfect venue & the perfect hosts for our perfect day!
We just wanted to send a heartfelt thank you for everything you did to make our wedding day so incredibly special.
From the moment we arrived, your warmth and genuine hospitality made us and our guests feel so welcomed and at ease. It’s rare to meet such wonderful people with such big hearts —your kindness did not go unnoticed and truly meant the world to us.
The venue itself was absolutely charming — full of character and beauty. We received so many compliments from our guests about the stunning location and how comfortable and relaxed the entire atmosphere was. It felt more like a gathering at a friend’s garden than a formal event, which is exactly what we had hoped for.
You catered to every need with such care and attention, and we’re so grateful for your support throughout the day. We couldn’t have asked for a better place, or better people, to share our wedding day with our family and friends.

Spectacular
It meant the absolute world to me to get married in my home town, and Camlad Barns made all my dreams come true! It’s such a beautiful venue and some of that beauty is down to the fact that it’s DIY so you can literally taylor it to fit whatever vibe you want! From arriving on the Friday, to leaving on the Sunday it was an absolute dream from start to finish. The hosts, Alex and Jono, were so accommodating and nothing was too much. Their passion for this barn is so clear to see and I hope they realise how amazing they are. The bar is really well stocked, and the kitchen is a great size for suppliers to come in and use. We had a pizza van in the evening and there was plenty of outside space for it to park up.
Nothing beats the views though. We went off the the corn field that was next door and got some great photos which really embraced the rustic vibe. Our photographer loved all the different textures around the farm that look amazing in our photos. Honestly, I cannot recommend this place enough!!Camlad Barns's reply:

S1Any1 Sent on 25/08/2023Words cannot describe how incredible Alex and Jonathan are at Camlad barns!
Well...what can I say! Camlad Barns is just THE most beautiful wedding venue for any type of wedding. We had a sudden change in circumstances back in March where it was decided we were to get married and do the legal ceremony with just immediate family. Alex and Jonathan were so accommodating they helped us arrange a small intimate ceremony and drinks for just 15 of us! The place looked beautiful even on a Monday afternoon in March!
We then held our main wedding celebration and vow renewal in July. The planning and preparation phases were so easy with Alex on hand to ask anything and let us do anything we had the ideas for...even setting up Tipi's and camping in the field opposite! It really is the most relaxed wedding venue where nothing is too much trouble. The cottage is lovely for both staying the night before and night of, the lawn and the view are spectacular, and main barn itself is done to such a high quality and courtyard and fire pit in the evening was brilliant. We can't wait for another reason to hold a celebration there!

We had our wedding day at Camlad Barns on the 24th June 2023 and we had the most amazing day!
Alex and Johnathan were really helpful on the lead up the wedding, answering our many many questions! Camlad barns are stunning and the different areas make it a wonderful space for a wedding.
We hired two big hat tipis from Java tipis to go on the grass area for our wedding breakfast which looked incredible and 'went' with the barn wedding style perfectly! We had 112 sat inside the barns for the ceremony which fit really comfortably and then used the barns for dancing later on. We used the wainhouse as a chill-out area, with a photo booth and for cake cutting/ cheese later on.
The relaxed atmosphere created by Alex and Jonathan at the barns drew us to them straight away as we wanted something quite DIY, rustic and laid-back. The roses and the gardens in the cottage are stunning and made for beautiful photos as well as the beautiful views. We also hired the cottage which has been renovated and provided the perfect base to get ready and for little ones to get early nights.
Camlad barns will always be very special to us and we wouldn't have chosen anywhere else. Thank you, thank you! Heather and Ben xxx -

Camlad barns is such a beautiful setting to get married. Alex and john are so helpful and professional; from guiding us with ideas in the lead up to the wedding and on the day itself. The views are stunning and the whole feel of the place was just what we wanted - laid back, easy going, not too strict or rigid - it was also the prefect backdrop for my husbands vintage tractors too!Camlad Barns's reply:
