We will never be able to put into words how truly incredible Caer Llan is. From the moment we came for our first viewing we knew this was where we wanted to have our wedding.
Jake and Vicky are exceptional at what they do, nothing is too big or small for them to help with and they ensured our entire day was planned and executed perfectly!
Despite a couple of rain showers we were still able to have our ceremony and breakfast outside which we had our hearts set on from the start.
The food was incredible, with the entire 3 day event made gluten free to cater for me. You will not find another place more accommodating, or owners who care as much as Vicky and Jake do.
Every staff member was friendly, approachable and caring.
We will never be able to thank you enough! -

Caer Llan klingt nach einem Ort, bei dem die persönliche Erfahrung wahrscheinlich stark von der Unterkunft, dem Anlass und den Erwartungen abhängt. Ich finde Erfahrungsberichte besonders hilfreich, weil man dadurch oft einen besseren Eindruck von Atmosphäre, Service und Umgebung bekommt als durch reine Beschreibungen.
Wenn ich unterwegs bin, ist mir eine angenehme Atmosphäre genauso wichtig wie ein bissl Abwechslung in der Freizeit. Online schaue ich deshalb auch gerne bei https://spin-granny.at/ vorbei.

We honestly couldn't have imagined a more perfect place to get married. From the moment we booked Caer Llan to the moment we left after our wedding weekend, everything exceeded our expectations.
Our whole weekend was absolutely perfect and it's something we'll remember for the rest of our lives. The venue itself is stunning, with incredible views, but what really makes Caer Llan so special are the people. Jake, Vicky and Gabbi were amazing throughout the whole process and on the day itself. They made everything run so smoothly that we were able to completely relax and enjoy every moment. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.
We also want to give a special mention to the chefs and catering team, who were absolutely fantastic. We had some Turkish heritage in our wedding and they were so willing and enthusiastic about incorporating this into the evening food. They created a brilliant Turkish-inspired evening menu featuring some of our favourite dishes, including borek which is no easy thing to get right and they absolutely smashed it. It meant so much to us to have that personal touch, and our guests loved it.
The food for our wedding breakfast was also perfect. Everything was beautifully cooked and presented, and we had so many guests tell us how much they enjoyed it and how impressed they were with the quality.
Having the accommodation on site worked so well for our wedding party and made the whole weekend feel really special. It meant we could spend quality time with our closest family and friends before and after the wedding, which is something we'll always treasure.
The team also worked so well with all of our suppliers, making everyone feel welcome and at home. It really helped create the relaxed, fun atmosphere we wanted for our day.
If you're thinking about getting married at Caer Llan, do it. We genuinely couldn't recommend it more highly. Thank you for giving us the most incredible weekend.

We can’t thank Vicky, Jake and the Caer Llan team enough for being incredible hosts and helping to make our wedding weekend truly unforgettable!
We first viewed Caer Llan in Mar 2025 and felt so relaxed at the venue that we soon knew it was the right choice for us. We were won over by the amazing grounds and stunning views of the Monmouthshire countryside – which completely exceeded our expectations on our wedding day in June 2026 during a brilliantly sunny and warm weekend! We were so lucky to have both our ceremony and meal outside on their terrace – it really felt like a destination wedding.
They were so helpful during the planning stages of the big day, were very responsive to queries and provided some really helpful advice and planning tools. They were flexible and enabled us to make personalised choices including menu options.
Over the weekend the team were calm, professional and made sure that everything went just as we had hoped, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the celebrations. All the food throughout the weekend was top notch, amazing quality and generous portions – right from the welcome buffet the night before, canapes, 3 course wedding breakfast, evening food and breakfasts for on-site guests.
So many guests fed back to us how amazing Caer Llan is, and how much they enjoyed the venue. It was really important to us that both us and all our guests had a great time, and Caer Llan certainly made sure of this!

We wanted to have a venue which was a little out of the way, with a view, and exclusive access, Caer Llan smashed it on all counts. Stunning views, peaceful surroundings. The food was amazing, the hosts Vicky and Jake were astounding in their care of our special day and made it a perfect day for us. We have had a lot of feedback from guests saying how amazing the location is and it was the best wedding they have been to -

We had the perfect weekend at Caer Llan, and cannot recommend it enough! Having them do a lot of things in house really reduced the amount of work we had to do in the build up, and they really delivered on the day. The option to have the Friday night also allowed us to spend more time with all of our guests, and savour the weekend a little bit more! The food was great, they bar was reasonable, and the view was absolutely stunning. We had multiple guests telling us that it's the best venue they've ever been to, and we thoroughly agree. Vicky and Jake were wonderful hosts, and guided us through the day perfectly -

Wonderful venue and a lovely day
Vicky and Jake have a lovely venue and run a tight ship. They were helpful in the process from beginning to end and made the day run very smoothly for us. Caer Llan is a lovely place to get married and we had a blast!

From the moment we arrived at Caer Llan, we knew we had chosen somewhere truly special for our wedding. Nestled in the beautiful Monmouthshire countryside, the venue itself is stunning, but what really made our day unforgettable was the incredible team who run it.
Jake and Vicky are simply exceptional. Their calm professionalism, warmth and genuine care shone through every stage of the planning process and on the day itself. Nothing was ever too much trouble and their attention to detail meant we could relax completely and enjoy every moment, knowing everything was in safe hands. They anticipated things we hadn’t even thought of and made the whole experience feel effortless.
The wider Caer Llan team were equally amazing — friendly, attentive and seamless in everything they did. From the smooth running of the ceremony to the reception and evening celebrations, everything flowed perfectly. Our guests commented repeatedly on how well looked after they felt and how welcoming and inclusive the atmosphere was throughout the day.
Caer Llan is not just a beautiful wedding venue; it is a place run by people who clearly love what they do and genuinely care about the couples they host. The breathtaking views across the Monmouthshire countryside provided an unforgettable backdrop to our few days and the food was exceptional, beautifully presented and thoroughly enjoyed by us and our guests alike. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting or a more supportive, thoughtful team to celebrate such an important day in our lives.
Thank you to Jake, Vicky and everyone at Caer Llan for giving us the most incredible wedding memories. We will treasure them forever.
