On arriving at Caer Llan we knew immediately this was the venue for us! It had everything we wanted, a beautiful building with stunning grounds/views, plenty of accommodation for our nearest and dearest and to top it off, wonderful owners! Vicky and Jake have been beyond accommodating throughout our journey. On first arrival we were shown around the venue and discussed the various options and given time to go away and decide without feeling pressured (although it didn’t take us more than an hour to get back to them and secure our date)! Vicky and Jake have always been so helpful and prompt in responding to any queries we had and helped in our decision making along the way. It was so nice to go back to the venue for our planning meeting and fully discuss the big day. We also re visited on one further occasion to run through some decorative choices and Vicky and Jake were accommodating and on hand to help us with anything we were unsure of.
We wanted an intimate wedding celebration with our closest friends and family and chose the two night option. It was without doubt the right choice and all of our guests felt at ease and the various bedrooms and communal spaces accommodated our guests of all ages to relax and feel at home throughout their stay. The younger guests were occupied in the family room and made full use of the amenities where close by, the adults could relax and enjoy their stay in the bar and main room. The night before the wedding was truly a celebration in itself, it brought everyone together and we could really relax, eat, drink and be merry with our loved ones ahead of the big day!
We were hoping for an outdoor ceremony (Vicky had always reassured us that we could decide on the day for an indoor or outdoor ceremony) but the Great British weather had other ideas and this made our day even more magical. I will always remember me and my bridesmaids giggling on the balcony of the bridal suite with wet feet and champagne in hand! And as newly weds wandering hand in hand through the lush grounds under umbrellas. We wanted a romantic feel to our wedding and that is certainly what we got and will remember forever. The large canopy provided shelter for our confetti shots and family photos plus the little ones in attendance had a great time playing under the gazebo with the evening food also being served outside.
The dedication of Jake, Vicky and their hard working team in turning the venue around throughout the day is extraordinary, and was widely noticed by our guests. The transformations from the ceremony to the wedding breakfast through to the evening party was phenomenal! Their attention to detail makes everything feel so special and each time it was like you were in a completely different room! The welcome buffet on arrival through to our last breakfast before departure was outstanding and all of our guests have commented on this!
Jake and Vicky worked collaboratively with our suppliers and for some it was their first time at Caer Llan. Their support was really appreciated. Rhys would personally like to thank Jake for helping with the music & seating on the morning of the wedding. Jake stepped up, supported the groomsmen and brought a calmness to hopeless men!
From the bottom of our hearts we would like to thank Jake, Vicky and all of their team for making our day so special and personal to us. Your home really felt like ours for the entire duration of our stay and that was exactly how we wanted it to be, an occasion we, our families and friends will never forget.

A truly amazing wedding experience
What a find! We are so lucky to have found this venue that couldn't have suited us and our guests more!
This venue made our wedding so special in every single way we could have imagined and more!
Vicky and Jake who own and run the venue did their up most in every way to make the weekend run smoothly and keep everyone comfortable, from visiting the venue beforehand, the whole planning period up to the wedding, liaising with our chosen band, florist, make up artist, ect and accomodating our plans on how we wanted the day to run. We really couldn't have felt more looked after and cared for!
We very much enjoyed the family feel the venue had compared to the many cooperate 'one in, one out' venues, and the pride Vicky and Jake take to make this such an exceptional experience for everyone is really special.
The grounds and views are absolutely stunning and the ability to host an outside wedding was great. The accommodation was spotless and the food was delicious and well presented at every meal.
Being able to create a weekend wedding was lovely as not only did it mean we could spend time with all our guests without it feeling rushed but we got to relax into the weekend and it felt like a break for everyone on site.
All of our guests have since commented on how special the venue was and how well looked after they felt by our wonderful hosts who were always on hand if needed.
Vicky and Jake thank you so much for all your hard work, your quick replies to emails, your ability to solve any potential problems, and guiding us through our special day every step of the way. Our wedding wouldn't have been the same anywhere else, you turned our dream into reality and made it 'ours'.
You have left us both speechless and we can't thank you enough!!!! -

Best venue for a wedding weekend
Picture this:
You’re a bag of nerves knowing this is the most important weekend that you’ve planned 2 years for, you’re immediately greeted by smiling faces and are put completely at ease from the start ✨
The venue is “fairytale” picturesque and the team worked perfectly and so hard to make sure everything we pictured for our day was carried out smoothly without issues.
Nothing ever seemed to be too much, Jake, Vicky and the team was available whenever we had questions and the team worked perfectly to make sure everyone who attended through out the weekend was taken care of.
All the food was delicious and all dietary issues were taken care of. Highly recommend the Indian street food option as the evening meal!!
We left very knowing we couldn’t have asked for a better weekend 💕

From start to finish Caer Llan were excellent. From the second we got out of the car on our first visit and were blown away by the vista from the car park we had decided that inside the building would need to be pretty poor for us to discount it as our venue.
Our decision was made within minutes of entering the door and meeting Vicky and Jake. Both were great on communication in the build up and despite however many weddings they hold through the year, you'd be forgiven for thinking yours was the only one.
The venue is beautiful. We were fortunate to have outstanding weather which made our outdoor ceremony particularly special. The venue is flexible though and should storm clouds gather on the morning of the wedding, an indoor ceremony room is set up with the same views over the stunning Welsh countryside.
The accommodation here is lovely. To utilise it to its full capacity you will need to use every bed in every room which means if you're working on 2 people per room, you'll need to be selective on who you invite to stay as you'll run out of rooms fast. For our small, intimate wedding this was perfect and all our family and closest friends were able to join us for a buffet the night before the wedding and stay right the way through to after breakfast the morning after.
The staff are great, Chris on the bar provides a welcoming face and creates a vibe of the bar being that of a friendly local pub.
The Chefs are excellent and as well as being two lovely guys, produce some magic in the kitchen. Food was outstanding throughout and this sentiment was echoed by all our guests.
This is a family run venue and all the staff work to make you feel as if they have thrown open the doors of their family home to host your venue, just for you.
This is far from a wedding factory so if you’re looking for a status wedding with 300 guests, Caer Llan isn’t for you. If you are however looking for a smaller, intimate country wedding with personal service focussed on you as a couple and your nearest and dearest; this is the place for you.

We recently celebrated our wedding at the stunning Caer Llan in Wales, and I can honestly say it was a day that surpassed every expectation. From the picturesque venue to the vibrant, joyful atmosphere, everything about our wedding was nothing short of magical – and much of that was thanks to the incredible hosts, Vicky and Jake.
From the moment we arrived, Vicky and Jake set the tone for what would be an unforgettable day. They brought such warmth, enthusiasm, and energy to the entire experience. They made us feel completely at ease and cared for, allowing us to soak in every moment without a worry in the world. Their attention to detail was impeccable, ensuring that everything ran smoothly, from the ceremony to the evening celebrations.
Vicky and Jake's involvement made all the difference. They didn't just coordinate our wedding; they became part of it. They knew how to keep things light-hearted while still being professional, making sure our guests were entertained, engaged, and having a blast. Whether it was helping us with last-minute adjustments or adding personal touches throughout the day, they were always right there, making the experience feel even more special.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the reception. With the help of Vicky and Jake, we were able to create a celebration that was as colorful as it was joyous. The dance floor was buzzing, the food was incredible, and the laughter and smiles never stopped. Vicky and Jake were the perfect hosts, guiding us through every moment while also letting us enjoy the best day of our lives to the fullest.
Looking back, we couldn’t have asked for a better team to make our wedding day come to life. Thank you both for everything! -

We could not recommend Caer Llan enough! We had our wedding weekend here 30th nov 2024 and we simple had the best time we could have ever imagined! Vicky & Jake are simply wonderful, from the moment we were invited in when first visiting it felt like the perfect venue to have our wedding day. Throughout the whole process contact with Vicky was quick and nothing was too much trouble, they really go above and beyond to make everything perfect. We had two nights stay at Caer Llan and even then it was not enough time to really take it all in, the view is truly spectacular, the food is amazing and guests are still talking about it, and Vicky & Jake really do make you feel right at home. The bedrooms are perfect, super comfortable and spacious, their team of staff are great, especially the bar staff that will stay to chat and serve you as long as you're up whatever the time! There really isn't anything more we could've asked for to make this the most special day at Caer Llan! -

When my wife and I saw Caer Llan whilst browsing websites, its beauty was instantly striking. The fantastic architecture, the outdoor spaces, and of course the view, were all apparent. What we didn’t plan for, and what won us over immediately, was the warmth, care, and passion that Vicky, Jake and the whole team show for what they do. Everyone ensured that our wedding day was one that we looked forward to with minimal stress, and one that we’ll look back on with fondness and gratitude that we managed to find a place so perfect.
For those wondering about logistics: the rooms are spacious and comfortable, each with their own private bathrooms and flexible sleeping arrangements for whatever combination of guests you may have. The food was excellent (we had the Friday cold buffet, breakfast both days, a wonderful wedding breakfast with generous portions and the evening barbecue, which was worth paying the extra for in our opinion), and the team are very accommodating for allergies or dietary requirements, no matter how niche. The outdoor space is plentiful and peaceful, with plenty of opportunities for stunning photos.
