Beautiful and unique venue
Our dream venue in every way! We were looking for somewhere unique, relaxed, bright and flexible and that's exactly what we got (and more!). I think every guest commented on what a stunning and fun venue it was (we took advantage of having the steam train running for guests and used the outdoor space to have garden games and space hoppers). It was great to be able to tailor the day and venue to suit us exactly. The venue can be dressed as you like but we kept things simple to show off the beauty of the venue and surroundings. We had brilliant suppliers, some from suggestion of the venue and some we found ourselves.
Emma was wonderful to work with, really keen to make our dream day a reality and so accommodating when we had to rearrange twice due to the pandemic, I'm sure she must have been brilliant on the day too as it all came together like magic and we didn't have to do a thing!Buckinghamshire Railway Centre's reply:
Dear Jade and Russell, Thank you for your lovely comments. We are so happy that you had a wonderful day. It was a pleasure hosting your special day with you lovely family and friends. We wish you all the happiness for your future together, please come back and see us all soon. Emma & the Team x -

The best day of my life!
I got married recently at the Buckinghamshire railway in Quainton. The 19th of July 2025 to be precise! And I can honestly say it was one of the best days of my life! From start to finish, I felt like I was in a movie. We had a brass band playing, we hired out the steam train whereby our guests enjoyed Prosecco and canapés on the train and we had an eighties disco in the evening with the wonderful Nigel. It was MAGIC from
Start to finish!
I cannot recommend the railways events planner Belinda highly enough! From start to finish, she helped me with all of my crazy ideas and NOTHING was too much trouble! I owe a lot of the day to her.
I must also say that the railway have some
WONDERFUL recommendations of caterers and suppliers. We called upon Rhubarb and Ginger and the food was out of this world! Laura and Shaun, the chefs, are next level!
Guests keep telling me that it was the best wedding that they have ever been to! I just wish I could do it all
again!-

The perfect wedding venue
This adorable venue was the location of our wedding last week and it was absolutely amazing. Belinda was so helpful and cheerful, nothing was too much trouble and she made sure everything ran smoothly. The centre has lots of gorgeous places for photos, and I would definitely recommend getting a steam train as all of our guests were completely charmed by it. There is plenty of parking and easy access for vendors, and it is lovely to have a long aisle to walk down in a non-religious venue. This was pretty important with 8 bridesmaids! It was really fun to sign the marriage register in carriage that was used by Winston Churchill, and it was important to us that we supported a local venue and museum, rather than having our wedding in a faceless corporate hotel/venue. The whole place is just so cute and pretty, and can be dressed up or down to suit. We had a fairly casual affair with an ice cream van and barbecue, but it could easily be adapted for something more formal and our initial wedding outfits were pretty formal but still looked perfect in all the photos. We cannot recommend it highly enough x-

Incredible unique venue
We could not have asked for a better wedding experience! From day one, Belinda was incredibly helpful, supportive, and made the whole process feel easy. One of the things we loved most was the flexibility to bring in our own vendors, which allowed us to make the day truly our own. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and so unique—our guests are still talking about how beautiful it was! If you’re looking for a venue that combines charm, flexibility, and outstanding service, we highly recommend it.Buckinghamshire Railway Centre's reply:
Hi Martha, thank you so much for the lovely review, I am so pleased that you felt supported, and it was clear to see that you had a great day, all your guests were obviously having a good time. You were a lovely couple to look after, generous and thoughtful, and you took the blank canvas and made it your own, which I always love. You were absolutely beautiful too, Martha, there really could not be a lovelier bride! Best wishes to you both, Belinda -

Fantastic, quirky venue with the ability to make it your own.
We had our wedding celebration here and we cannot recommend it enough. The venue has so much character, and is perfect for any weather! There are so many great photo opportunities and extensive space to put your stamp on it. Belinda, the venue coordinator is absolutely fabulous. She was highly professional, responsive and very accommodating. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt ready for our big day and was a great support for our suppliers on the day too. We
100% recommend this venue if you are looking for somewhere with character, and have the flexibility to select the right partners to make your day just how you want it.

Hi Ally & Brad
Thank you so much for your lovely review! I have to say you were an amazingly thoughtful couple and such a pleasure to have here. It was an honour to be part of your special day, it was a thoroughly happy day from start to finish. Even the day before when there was lots to do, you both remained so calm and... basically lovely to work and spend time with! I also appreciated how well you handled the clean up; your plan was flawless and made it so easy for everyone at the end of the night, thank you. I wish you all the very best for your life together, you are a fabulous couple, Bxxx -

Cusick wedding- 2025
I recently got married at this beautiful venue having fallen in love with it as soon as we first visited. Belinda was phenomenal throughout the whole booking process, the lead up to the wedding and the wedding day itself. She made sure we had everything we needed, helped all of my vendors and was just a pleasure to work with.
The venue is so gorgeous and the perfect place for a wedding. The venue is well kept, stunning and I received so many compliments about how different it was from most wedding venues. Compared to most venues, Buckingham railway centre is so well priced, flexible and accommodating, we don’t have a single bad thing to say.
I am so grateful to Belinda for all of her help, and highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a different and untraditional venue for their special day.Buckinghamshire Railway Centre's reply:

Also a big thank you to your clear up team who were so helpful and had the place shipshape in no time, it was really appreciated. All my very best wishes to you for the future, I am sure you will have a long and happy life together, see you soon, Belinda -

Beautiful, unique and best venue
The venue is beautiful, unique and we had sooo many guests in fact all the guests and vendors tell us how wonderful it was to attend/work in a place so lovely.
Equally brilliant are the staff. So helpful and accommodating right from the get go. They really show their passion for the venue and clearly just want you to have the best day and we did!
Also the history of the place is amazing we signed our marriage certificate in the cartridge that Churchill and Eisenhower used to travel in!
We also hired the steamy rain and the guests absolutely loved the this too.
We honestly can’t rave enough about how amazing the venue and staff are!-

Remarkable venue!
This venue is a “hidden gem” and is a truly epic destination to host your wedding. The stunning natural light that beams through the glass ceiling, the beautiful steam trains and vintage signage, gives this venue a real Wes Anderson vibe that people won’t forget. A dry hire venue, where you can bring in your own caterers and bar suppliers at such affordable rates is a rare find. You can decorate it as you wish, though really very little is needed in this charming space. We didn’t make any sacrifices for our big day - sit down meal for over 125 guests, free bar, and live music - and we still came in budget. The dancefloor area is huge so we could have a stage in for the band and well as create seating areas around the dancefloor for people who prefer to sit and watch. We even bought a sofa in! You have a great outdoor space, whatever the weather, thanks to the canopy. Even when people are outside smoking / vaping, the dancefloor and bar are right next door, so you don’t feel disconnected and people can easily pop in and out. The staff cannot do enough for you. They are communicative, flexible, happy and helpful. They have a great supplier to sort all of your AV needs for speeches, music, staging etc. We also used their local recommended suppliers for glassware, crockery, extra fridges etc (did I mention it was a free bar?) and all were excellent. We ran a train service after the wedding which was worth every penny. First, our own private journey where we returned to guests on the platform for the confetti throw. Then, when guests got on board, it was the perfect opportunity for the Bride and Groom to greet everyone as a captive audience in the carriages, meaning we could relax and enjoy the rest of our day organically afterwards. It warms my heart to know the love and care that goes into the preservation of the stream trains, a wonderful part of British heritage. Thank you so much to the Quainton Queens Belinda, Emma and team. We wish we could do it all again!Buckinghamshire Railway Centre's reply:
Hi Jasmine, oh wow that's quite a review! Thank you so much for your lovely words, it's so good to hear that our gorgeous couples adore the venue as much as we do... we had the best day with you, it really was a great party with everyone letting their hair down. You could not have made it more of an event, and you did it in so short a time, amazing! All our best wishes to you for 2025, Belinda -

If you’re looking for a venue with character, flexibility, and an unforgettable experience, we highly recommend the railway centre 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
We recently held our wedding at the railway centre, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. From the moment we first reached out to Emma to enquire about the venue, we were met with incredibly helpful information and advice that made the planning process so much easier.
One of the aspects we loved most about this venue was the flexibility to bring in our own suppliers, such as caterers and bars, allowing us to create a day that truly reflected our unique style. Our guests couldn’t stop telling us how much fun they had and how they’d never been to a wedding quite like ours before.
A standout feature was hiring the steam train for two hours—it was an unforgettable highlight for both adults and children. Would highly recommend paying slightly extra for this.
We are now lifetime supporters of the railway museum and plan to return every year to celebrate our marriage. A massive thank you to Emma and Belinda for your incredible help and enthusiasm in making our day so smooth and memorable. We couldn’t have done it without you!-
