Great venue, highly recommend!
We had an amazing experience with this wedding venue – it truly had everything we wanted for our special day. One of the things we loved most was how flexible it was; we were able to tailor our day exactly how we wanted while still staying within our budget, which made the whole planning process so much less stressful.
A special mention has to go to Holly, the wedding coordinator. She was absolutely fantastic from start to finish and supported us every step of the way. We honestly can’t speak highly enough of her. On the day itself, she was calm, organised, and incredibly reassuring – even stepping in to cut our cake when one of our groomsmen started making a bit of a mess of it!
We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team and would highly recommend it to anyone planning their wedding. -

When we first started looking at venues to host our wedding, we were so shocked to find how restrictive so many of them are - with very limited suppliers you are allowed to use. For us, our wedding was an expression of who we are and what we mean to each other, so a packaged deal to have a wedding the same as everyone else’s was not what we wanted.
So when we told Browning Bros that we wanted to have a picnic where all our guests would be bringing their own food, we expected there to be some scepticism. But this isn’t what happened at all - our ideas were completely embraced.
Gill was our Event Manager and took the time to really get to know us and what we wanted, so she really understood the brief. She knew the site so well that she could recommend ideas she knew we would love. And the day before we were talking about the decor, Gill suggested we got a pineapple (which sounds bizarre but was so perfect) and even went out and got one for us on the morning of the wedding to decorate the aisle. That meant so much to us! By that point she knew better than us what we would love, and that personal connection she had built with us was the reason it all came together.
It goes without saying how beautiful the venue is, you’ve seen the pictures! Our guests just absolutely loved being there for the weekend. It is flat so great for older relatives and the facilities for the campers included a kitchen and showers meant that they all really enjoyed the experience and it didn’t feel like they were roughing it at any point. In fact, everyone that stayed over had the best time - even those who previously hated camping - they are converts!
We are so grateful to Gill and the team who gave us the most magical, personal wedding we could have dreamed of. Our guests are going to be talking about it forever. THANK YOU ❤️💙🧡💛💜💚🩷 -

We had our wedding at Teybrook Orchard, run by the amazing Browning Bros, and it was truly everything we could have dreamed of and more. From the moment we arrived, we knew it was the perfect setting for our autumnal woodland wedding — rustic, romantic, and completely magical.
Our wonderful wedding coordinator Gill was an absolute star. She went above and beyond to make sure every detail ran smoothly, from the ceremony to the evening celebrations. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and her calm, friendly approach meant we could truly relax and enjoy every moment.
The venue itself is breathtaking — surrounded by beautiful trees and nature, it created the perfect backdrop for our traditional handfasting ceremony. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how unique and atmospheric the setting was, especially with all the autumn colours adding to the enchantment.
We’ll treasure the memories of our day at Teybrook Orchard forever. If you’re dreaming of a woodland wedding that feels natural, relaxed, and filled with magic, we couldn’t recommend Browning Bros and Gill highly enough. It was everything we hoped for — and more -

We got married a few weeks ago at Chalkney Water Meadows and we highly recommend the venue if you're looking for a wedding in the middle of the nature ! We were lucky enough to have most of the time under the sun. The venue isn't cheap when you add all the suppliers for your special day but it is a really beautiful environment.
Holly and Gill were amazing and helped us before and on the special day. We also loved the Waterlily lodge, it's a very nice lodge for a group of 6 people. -

My partner and I celebrated our wedding at this venue and it was nothing short of magical. It was so nice to camp amongst our family and friends and end the night sat around the fire. The yurts are so comfortable you wouldn't even know you're camping! They are kitted out with everything you might need, including an electric blanket for colder nights. The toilet and shower facilities were modern and clean, and created a great space for everyone to get ready together the morning of the wedding. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and crockery, and there was enough fridge and freezer space to keep us going all weekend. The Browning Bros staff were on hand to make everything run smoothly and were quick to resolve any issues that arose over the weekend. -

This has taken a long time to write, simply because I don’t know how I can put into words how amazing our wedding at Chalkney Water Meadows was in June 2025… But here goes!
When we began looking for outside wedding venues, the venue kept popping up online. It was the first venue we viewed, and subsequently the only one! We fell in love with the beauty of the venue and the relaxed feel, it was perfect.
Holly was great in explaining everything, we had regular catch ups and she provided all the information we needed, as well as all the answers to our many questions!
On our wedding day, Meg and the Browning Bros staff were superb. Especially given it was a 30°C day! Meg suggested we move the speeches outside into the shade after the wedding breakfast, which was a fantastic idea and was appreciated by all!
All the day guests, glampers and campers had a wonderful time and there were so many compliments about the venue and the staff.
We had the most incredible day and it will remain one of the happiest memories of our lives, thank you all! :) -

Where Traditions Were Tossed and Memories Were Made – Chalkney Magic
Gill, the incredible Head of Weddings, was nothing short of a superhero throughout our entire journey. Whether it was my groom shouting “GILLLL!” across the venue for help with the steamer or a buttonhole emergency, Gill was always there—calm, kind, and ready to assist.
From our very first call, we made it clear we wanted a wedding that broke tradition. Think: groomsmen dancing down the aisle to AC/DC, our fur baby as the ring bearer, and a relaxed hog roast buffet instead of a formal sit-down dinner. Gill didn’t just support our vision—she embraced it. She helped us craft a bespoke drinks package that matched our vibe perfectly, steering away from the usual table wine.
The venue itself is pure magic. Hidden from the main road, you’re led down a fairy light-lit path into a tranquil meadow where the only sounds are the wind rustling through the trees. It’s like stepping into another world.
We had the venue from Friday to Sunday, and our guests loved every moment. Friday night was a hit with self-catering and the new pizza oven stealing the show. Many stayed in the tipis, which were warm, clean, and comfy!
We booked the Water Lily Lodge for the bridal party, and it was the perfect retreat. Sharing the hot tub with my bridal party on Friday night, then enjoying a peaceful Sunday morning soak with my groom—tea and chocolate biscuits in hand—was the cherry on top.
One of the things we adored most was the freedom to decorate Chalkney our way. The venue is so naturally stunning it didn’t need much—just some colourful bunting and beautiful flower arrangements by the pontoon where the celebrations took place.
We also loved the flexibility with the table layout. Instead of a traditional top table, we opted for a cosy table for two, giving us a quiet moment together during the whirlwind of the day.
Chalkney wasn’t just a venue—it was the setting for a weekend full of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. We couldn’t have asked for more. -

We've just found time to write this after our incredible wedding at Chalkney Water Meadows. We had such an incredible experience. From the moment we reached out to enquire we were met with wonderful hospitality and excellent communication. In particular Holly was fabulous. She made sure to answer any questions we had and no request was too much to ask. The closer we got to the big day the better the communication and the more the team there intervened to resolve any questions from suppliers so as to reduce the pressure on us. If having a wedding here be aware much of the 'little things' that make the day are down to you and there's an element of DIY to it as you're primarily paying for use of the space, however this was perfect for us. We wanted to be able to control the little things and not have to make compromises imposed by a venue. The highlight for us was that you get the venue for the full weekend, allowing us to make the most of the day before to bring family together. It was a truly wonderful experience and our only regret is we can't do it all over again! Thank you to Holly and the team for making our day so special
