Chappell Wedding 12.7.25

We recently celebrated our wedding at Blackstock and truly could not have asked for a better experience. Value for money was outstanding - every element included in our package exceeded expectations, with no hidden costs or surprises, and it was clear the team strives to deliver a premium experience at a fair price. The venue offered excellent packages that included not just the space, but essentials such as catering, coordination, and even accommodation. For couples conscious of their budget, we found that it delivered all the quality and experience we wanted while still meeting our financial goals.

The staff's professionalism was remarkable throughout the process. From our initial enquiry, response times were quick and thorough. Our event coordinator, Sara, was attentive and knowledgeable, always willing to go above and beyond to answer questions and accommodate requests - even those made at the last minute. On our wedding day, every team member was not only organised and efficient but also genuinely friendly, helping us and our guests feel supported and welcome at every step.

Regarding our budget needs, the venue was flexible and transparent. We were able to tailor our package according to our priorities without ever feeling pressured to upgrade unnecessarily. The staff offered detailed breakdowns and worked with us to ensure every need was met without overstretching our budget.

The overall attitude of the entire team was warm, proactive, and solutions-focused. The staff maintained a positive and can-do approach, ensuring everything ran seamlessly and stress-free.

In summary, Blackstock truly prioritises couples’ happiness. It combines stunning surroundings and excellent service with great value and a team whose professionalism and positive attitude shine through. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a memorable and impeccably managed wedding day.

A beautiful venue on a beautiful day

We couldn't have asked for a better day and venue for our wedding. All the staff were amazing in helping us arrange and run our special day!
A big thank you, particularly as we were originally booked elsewhere (origin venue closed). The wedding team assisted us in every way possible, including managing to re-arrange provisional accommodation bookings to allow us space to have our family stay on our wedding night.

Wonderful Wedding

My husband and I just held our wedding at Blackstock. Blackstock were so accommodating and responsive throughout the planning process.

Every member of staff that we interacted with was so lovely and happy to help.

The food options are extremely varied, with a lot of options for vegetarian / vegan diets, which was very important to us. The food that we chose was delicious and beautifully presented.

Blackstock has a lovely atmosphere and setting. Our wedding photographer was spoilt for choice when taking us around! The accommodation is very reasonably priced and everyone loved their rooms.

We had both our ceremony and reception at Blackstock, with the ceremony in the Tudor Barn, the Wedding Breakfast in the Granary Barn, and the Reception back in the Tudor Barn. Both spaces are easily accessed, and, having also attended another reception at Blackstock, offer a lot of potential when outlining your decorations.

Outstanding Venue!

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Blackstock for helping us have the most magical wedding day last week!
Despite the weather being nasty and causing a power cut right before the ceremony, Blackstock were quick to jump to action, work with our suppliers and make sure there was a plan B in place. Lorraine was so calming and reassuring about how we were going to proceed, tealights had been put out to light the ceremony room as well as sorting out a generator for the music. Thinking this would be every bride's nightmare, I actually wasn't stressed at all as I knew we were in safe hands, thanks guys!
The venue itself is beautiful and all of the staff are simply the best. I spent a lot of time communicating with Josie before the day, she was so reassuring, kind and always quick to respond when I had lots of questions; thank you!!
On the day, Lorraine and Luigi were fabulous in making sure everything went smoothly. The food was delicious and we had lots of compliments from guests about the food and how gorgeous the venue was :)
The waiting staff and bar staff were all brilliant. They were all smiley, polite and quick to help - thank you all!
Would also like to say a massive, massive thank you to Alan the security guard and Luigi for helping us at the end of the night; you're both incredible and we appreciate your help and patience!
Alan especially was fantasic after offering to take home my mother in law and sister when their taxi was arriving very late; you angel.
Overall, a venue that meets your needs and excels above and beyond. Thank you all again, lots of love Jess and Gideon Holdgate X

A huge thank you

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone at Blackstock for helping us have such a wonderful day on Sunday! The moment we first visited Blackstock we knew it was our perfect venue and a truly beautiful setting.

Every member of staff has been friendly and helpful! Louisa and Josie were helpful answering all our questions before our wedding and on our wedding day Luigi at the start of the day was fantastic and so calming and both Kevin and Lorraine were equally brilliant! All the bar staff in the evening were also wonderful!

So many guests commented on what a beautiful venue it was and how delicious the food was!!

Thank you again and I’m sure we’ll be back in the not to distant future :)

Wedding day so special

Thank you to everyone at Blackstock for making our wedding day so special! This is an amazing venue with beautiful views and backdrops, perfect for those all important wedding photos. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after and the day ran so smoothly. Highly recommend Blackstock as a wedding venue x

Absolutely Perfect and Unforgettable Day

We wanted to say the biggest thank you for making our wedding day absolutely perfect and unforgettable. From the moment we first visited the venue we were blown away by the hospitality and the welcome we received.

Everyone was so on the ball. The wedding day itself went so smoothly. The makeup room was fantastic, it’s so spacious and great for pictures. A special note must be made about Kevin and Luigi, they went above and beyond on the day to ensure everything ran smoothly.

The whole day was so relax and the setup of the barns was incredible.
The portion of the food is generous and then upon trying the food we were blown away. The food was all delicious and guests throughout the day and since have said it was some of the best food they have ever had. People also commented on how quickly it was served and how hot the food was considering the number of guests. So a massive thank you to the chef and all involved in serving the food, it most definitely was worth the money!

The honeymoon suite was perfect for our stay. We stayed in the house the night before too and could not fault the rooms, they really have been done beautifully!
We were worried when we heard there was a wedding Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but had we not been told that we genuinely would have had no idea. We were made to feel like we were the only ones in the world having a wedding that day and don’t think we could ever thank enough for the service we received.

Thank you all so much again, our wedding day was perfect and we will never forget a moment of it.

Our beautiful Wedding

I cannot tell you what a fabulous day we had..... wouldn’t have changed a thing. I arrived early to get ready, and everything was so calm. Kevin and Luigi were fantastic throughout the whole day. The day was so well organised, service was brilliant, and the food was delicious. We had the bbq and the buffet in the evening. We asked for some special touches, and nothing was too much trouble. The thing that sold Blackstock was the amazing grounds and the stunning sunset. We can’t wait to see our photos. Thank you once again, and if you are considering this venue for your special day, I won't bother looking elsewhere.

Perfect Day!
