Best Day Ever!

Second time around and more worldly wise, you have different wedding needs and worries and yet Jess (wedding coordinator) and Xenia (Operations) managed to make the whole process seem simple. They were flexible, happy to help and wanted to ensure we had the best experience and they did us proud.
Jess really cares about her couples and was happy to listen, make suggestions and remain available for us when we needed her. Xenia and her team did a brilliant job of set up and the day's proceedings all went as planned. Xenia seems unflappable which in her role is a great skill to have. All my worries about things that could go wrong were completely unnecessary and we both had the best day ever. Great memories!!
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Aztec to any potential wedding couples, they are well practised and can take your stresses away.
I will be back for a visit and catch up soon with such lovely people. 🥰

Wedding Venue

We recently had our wedding at aztec and Jess, the coordinator, was amazing! We always felt welcome and she always had a big smile and it soon felt like we were friends rather than clients! Even on the day Xenia and the team did an exceptional job of decorating the room just as we wanted it and more! Simply amazing! Thank you so much!

Our wedding at Aztec west hotel & spa

Our wedding was the most magical day of our lives and we will cherish the memories forever. The day went as well as we could have ever imagined from the ceremony to the food it was exceptional! Jessica and her team blew it out of the park for me and my husband and will be forever grateful. Our guests were amazed and couldn’t stop complimenting everything! It was a day we will never forget ❤️

Above and beyond

Jessica and Xenia were absolutely amazing.
They kept in tip of everything, Jessica is very knowledgeable, kept checking in with me weekly, which kept me level.
The day was amazing, the team set everything as I wanted.
Problems that occurred (which were minor) were sorted efficiently and professionally causing no problem to me day.

Amazing Day

Well, if you are thinking of booking the Aztec Hotel for your wedding, we would say "do it". We had our Special Day in February 2024, and it was a great day. The venue was perfect for our travelling guests, as it is so close to the M5/M4. The staff were wonderful, with special shout outs to Jessica, Xenia, Mia and Connor, all of whom went that extra step to ensure we had a stressless day. The food for the whole event was excellent; not one guest had a bad word to say about it. We had one guest in a wheelchair and the family were very impressed with the attention that the staff gave them, ensuring that their needs were catered for. Most of our close family were staying the night, so we had added the Garden Room to our package, for breakfast the following morning. This was perfect as we all got together and had a good natter about our wedding day. The only slight criticism was that one or two of the early checking-in rooms were not ready, but this was resolved relatively quickly.
It was an amazing day that went so smoothly. We would definitely recommend Aztec Hotel and it's team.

Overall fantastic

Absolutely beautiful hotel. There was a few issues that cropped up during our planning and wedding stage, mainly centred around room reservations and wedding numbers (a miscommunication between planner and hosts meant hosts didnt have the correct numbers, however when I explained they remedied it immediately). Also found my guestbook had disappeared from storage so was a little annoyed about that.
Everything else though was fantastic. The day itself went smoothly, everyone was very professional and I would recommend it to others.

Very impressed with the overall service!

The service we were provided with couldn’t have been better and the staff were so friendly and helpful.In addition, the food was delicious and we had lots of comments from our guests saying so – especially about the beef!

Still on Cloud 9

We are still on cloud nine and can’t stop smiling we would recommend the Aztec hotel to anyone looking for a venue for a wedding in fact we think if they don’t come and take a look they would be missing out

We both cannot wait to return for our anniversary!

The ceremony room was beautiful, perfectly laid out where I wanted the spare seats (thanks to Andrea) she had made sure the right music was playing, everyone was in the right order I couldn’t of asked for anything better. You kept us updated on the weather during the day – typical Britain rain! The wedding breakfast room, again was flawless. All the favours were in the right places, the bride and groom glass charms were perfect, the introduction when we walked in was brilliant – I know I keep saying brilliant but there is no other word to describe it. Moving onto the food, it was absolutely fantastic! Nothing but positive comments and appreciation, I know my mum and mother in law also managed to have 2 puddings. The waiting staff were friendly, approachable and always smiling which just added to our happiness.
Even though we had the drapes in the evening the turnaround time was barely anything, so quick to turn things around it was just such a wonderful day. Evening buffet was lovely, no complaints. Evening favours were set out perfectly I have zero faults on it and that’s thanks to you and your team.
Thank you so much for everything you did for us Paul, not just on the day but during the run up. Nothing was too big or too small and the constant contact was so reassuring, it really kept our minds at ease! The day was fantastic, flawless and everything we hoped for and more! We cannot thank you enough for all your hard work – even coming in on a day that you weren’t supposed too!
We won’t hesitate to recommend the Aztec to anyone, whether that’s food, an event or overnight stay

I just wanted to say from the day we viewed the Az

The Hotel is a lovely place for any special occasion with such lovely grounds and everyone so friendly and helpful.
Nothing was too much trouble for you and we had everything we could of wished for it was a perfect day. The Venue had everything we were looking for especially the Al Fresco set up it was amazing and we were lucky enough to have good weather!
Not only the Wedding Day but all the extra special touches that we were lucky to experience ie the Bouquet upon booking the venue, temporary Spa membership, the Wedding gift from the Hotel and even the complimentary Anniversary stay all these little touches make such a difference.
We would like to personally Thank you for everything you have done and more, Please also send our special thanks onto Andrea (Our Toastmaster) who also made the day very special she was lovely
