Alpheton Hall Barns will forever now have a special place in our hearts. We fell in love with the venue when we first visited, the outdoor ceremony area was everything we wanted (and luckily the weather held for us to get married outside) and the barns themselves are beautiful. Carol and Nic were so helpful whilst planning our wedding, always on hand to answer questions and allowing us to visit the venue multiple times to measure up and check things out. They helped us make our wedding truly individual to us, offering us advice and adding their special touches. One of those was having two glasses of prosecco waiting for us in one of the smaller rooms after the ceremony, it gave us time to ourselves to take in that we had just got married, before confetti and photos. We highly recommend choosing Alpheton Hall Barns as your venue, you won't be disappointed. Thank you, Carol and Nic for helping us create a magical day to remember forever. -

We got married at Alpheton Hall Barns and honestly couldn’t have picked a better place. The barns are beautiful—really rustic and full of character—but still super comfortable and well set up for a wedding. The whole place has this peaceful, countryside vibe that made the day feel really special and relaxed.
The different spaces worked perfectly for our small wedding. We had our ceremony in the ceremony barn, then moved to the main barn for food and dancing, and there’s a lovely courtyard area in between where we had drinks, ate jdelicious pizza and chatted with guests. Everything flowed naturally and didn’t feel cramped or overly formal.
All in all, if you’re looking for a relaxed, countryside venue with loads of charm and great support, we’d absolutely recommend Alpheton Hall Barns. -

An amazing wedding day in the beautiful barns
We had the most amazing wedding at the barns in July. It was great to work with Carol and Nic who are so attentive, with great visions and meticulous attention to detail. The barn is beautiful and spacious. It’s the perfect venue for those who love the shabby chic vibe, but also love a party. Not to forget the amazing pizza oven in the courtyard! We had pizza for our evening food supplied by Alpheton Hall Barns and our guests haven’t stopped raving about in since! Thank you so much for hosting us! -

Perfect in every way
When we arrived at AHB we just knew it was the perfect place! The grounds and venue are absolutely stunning but what makes it extra special is Nick and Carol. They truly go above and beyond to make your day the best - from helping with choosing suppliers (we picked everyone from their recommended list), all the extra touches such as taking photos throughout the day so we had sneak peaks before the professional ones came back to creating the best wedding breakfast entrance! They made us feel comfortable, nothing was too much and they helped create the best day! All the guests commented on how beautiful the venue was - we wouldn’t change a thing and we highly recommend AHB!! -

Absolute Dream Venue
Alpheton Hall Barns was our venue of choice and I can't express how amazing our special day was in words! The woodland glade was absolutely stunning, the garden area was extremely well looked after and the Barn itself... Just wow! Carol and Nic are exceptional hosts and went above and beyond to make our dream day a reality, we couldn't recommend themselves and their venue enough! -

We got married at Alpheton Hall Barns and we don’t want to sound too gleeful, but we can safely say it was the best day of our lives. The venue is charming and whimsically beautiful, and we got lucky with the sunshine so were able to have our service in the woodland glade and make use of the lovely stackyard garden for our drinks reception. The reception barn was a perfect size to feel intimate with all our guests but have enough room to dance, chat and celebrate. While the barns don’t need any additional adornments, it was also lovely to be able to put our stamp on the space in the form of bunting, handmade signage, and lovely flowers from Wild & Mae.
If the barns are brilliant, they are only outstripped by the owners! Carol and Nic know every inch of their venue and how to maximise its potential to make the day extra special and have excellent knowledge and insights. They were happy for us to visit on multiple occasions and open days to get a feel for the space and discuss ideas with us and support us to have our day the way we wanted it. Special mention to the reception entrance lights routine designed by Nic that just took the whole experience to another level and whisking off a broken mirror for a fix after it was ‘damaged in transit’ (read: dropped by groom on its way into the building!)! Thank you to Carol too, for her endlessly calm and thoughtful approach - including shuttling all our things from the ceremony area to our reception space and arranging them perfectly. Throughout the process, Nic and Carol were supportive, insightful and their passion and care for each wedding at the barns is evident in all they do.
We have so much love and appreciation for the barns and everything they meant for our wedding day and celebrating with all our favourite people. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to get married and cannot recommend it enough. -

Alex Sent on 05/09/2024The most amazing setting for the best day of our lives.
Like most who get married, this was the happiest day of our lives. But it would not have been anywhere near as amazing without Carol, Nick, and the beautiful setting that is Alpheton Hall Barns.
From the very first phone call we felt certain we were in good hands. They offered us sage advice when we needed it, and went above and beyond for us.
We looked at countless other venues, but when we found AHB knew we'd hit the jackpot. The venue is unbelievably beautiful; we were astounded that somewhere like this could even exist.
While looking at other venues there seemed to be a general one size fits all approach with the people we met. The complete opposite can be said of Carol and Nick, it was clear from the first call that they cared deeply about making our day special... and I must say they delivered.
The ceremony took place in the woodland area and it was perfect. We weren't worried about rain because the chapel was a gorgeous second choice in case of rain.
We had over 200 people attend the evening of our wedding, but AHB took that amount of people in it's stride. With gorgeous grounds, the magical barn, and court yard areas this place was the perfect backdrop for a truly spectacular day.
We can't put into words how grateful we are to both Carol and Nick for making our wedding exactly what we wanted. It was the best day our lives. -

We fell in love with the barns due to their rustic beauty and ability to put our own stamp on our wedding day. We had the absolute best, most beautiful day of our lives. If anything went wrong, we weren't aware of it and much of that is due to Carol being there in the background making sure all the suppliers were okay and on track and Nic out front with the guests making sure we were looked after and taking some beautiful photos and video clips, which he put up on the screen in the evening next to the dance floor, which was such a special touch. From the set up, to the camper van taking the bride to the ailse, to the confetti balloon in our first dance, to the clean up, Alpheton Hall Barns made our day perfect and we are so greatful! -
