On Saturday, 9th September 2017, we were married at Park Farm Hotel, Hethersett, which is a Country House Hotel with landscaped gardens and scenic views of the unspoilt Norfolk countryside situated on the outskirts of Norwich. The Hotel has plenty of onsite parking, pleasant rooms and leisure and spa facilities as well as a restaurant and bar area.
We had a truly wonderful romantic Wedding day, and both have so many happy and joyous memories of our Wedding Day which we will treasure forever and always. It’s a shame the day went so quickly and we look forward to returning to the Hotel again soon.
Our Wedding Ceremony was held in the bright and welcoming Conservatory at the Hotel. As we stood at the Wedding alter, the September sun shine shone through the glass roof of the Conservatory and the patio doors behind the Wedding alter led out to lush gardens and beautiful Autumn flowers and shrubs.
Photographs were taken afterwards in the Hotel’s enchanting grounds and gardens followed by a drinks Reception with our guests while the staff quickly set the tables in the adjoining Colney Suite for the Wedding Breakfast. The food was delicious and the service was very good.
Everything ran smoothly on the day and the service we received was superb and professional. A big thank you to everyone involved in making our Wedding Day and celebrations so special for us and in particular thank you to our Wedding Co-Ordinator Sue for her attention to detail and kind support on the day which was fantastic. The hotel and Reception staff were very polite, helpful and obliging and everyone was willing to help very quickly with any request.
We would highly recommend Park Farm Hotel as a venue for a wonderful and memorable Wedding Day.

Okay where do we start...
From the minute my husband proposed to me back in 2014 I knew straight away Park Farm would be one of the hotels I would like to view because a friend from work had got married there and said how lovely it was - I had also been to a spa day at Park Farm before and fell in love with the gardens surrounding the hotel.
Park Farm Hotel was the third wedding venue myself and my husband viewed and it was most definitely the most comfortable I have ever felt. We had a lady called Claire I believe show us round (as Sue was on holiday) and she really took the time to get to know what exactly we wanted from our wedding day and gave us lots of information regarding different options. What we loved most about viewing the hotel is how lovely Claire was, how she didn’t care about gaining money out of us she just genuinely wanted us to get married there and it felt so positive when viewing the hotel.
Of course myself and my husband went home and talked about it but we knew straight away we were choosing Park Farm Hotel, everything just felt so right and when you know, you know.
From then until the day we got married on Friday 1st September Sue was so helpful, keeping me organised, answering every stupid and silly question I had, she honestly was amazing.
All the staff were just incredible and I honestly don’t think I can explain how special our day was and it was all down to Park Farm making it such a lovely venue with brilliant staff.
Thanks again Park Farm Hotel - see you one our years anniversary!

Our first impressions of Park Farm Hotel were excellent – with its long driveway, stunning gardens, modern vibe and welcoming staff, we knew it was the perfect venue for us.
Once we had confirmed our wedding date, we met our wedding coordinator, Sue, who was fantastic throughout the whole planning process. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we always got a prompt response to our questions/queries making everything so easy. On the wedding day itself, Sue and her team were fully involved, ensuring everything went to plan. They set up all of the decorations and equipment meaning that we could just arrive and enjoy our day without having to worry about anything. So many of our guests commented on how superb the staff were. Our ceremony took place in the Conservatory which was light and airy and opened out into a private garden where we had a drinks reception and canapés. There was plenty of space for everyone and we loved having the opportunity to use the beautiful gardens for various photographs.
Our wedding breakfast took place in the Colney Suite which had its own private bar and comfortably sat all 75 of our guests. The food and drink were excellent with a wide variety of menu choices to pick from and everything cooked to perfection. We attended a food tasting session prior to the wedding and would thoroughly recommend it – it definitely helped us select the best options for our guests, including those that had dietary needs. The portion sizes were excellent and we had a lot of compliments from our guests on how good the food was. We had the most special, perfect day at Park Farm Hotel and would recommend it to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

First of all I want to start by saying the biggest Thank you to all the wonderful staff at park farm who help make our special day so perfect.
I first met Sue Dedman in the March 2016 when we had pick Park Farm Hotel to be our venue she was very friendly and helpful an made myself and partner feel very comfortable and relaxed with such an important day to plan. Sue took all the stress out of the wedding any questions or concerns we had she dealt with and we didn't get a chance to worry as she had everything covered.
Everything was so easy they even accommodated our seating plan which I know was hard as I wanted everyone on one table ,but even this was easy for the hotel to sort.
I can safely say I really did leave most of it to Sue and Park Farm Hotel and what an amazing job they done for us. All the decorating and setting up on the day was taken care of , I even had my hair and make up done at the venue by their staff and they were amazing. All myself and my partner had to do was turn up on the day, and the other biggest part of the day was having the children catered for, as I had 5 toddlers there but with a kids corner to play in and set up they couldn't of asked for more either. Lovely to find some where that was more than happy to make life easy and be so good with children.
We highly recommend Park Farm Hotel for your special day.
Many thanks Donna & Stephen

Having grown up in Wymondham, we wanted a venue which was close to our church and following Park Farm’s development over the years, and having been to a few wedding receptions there in the past, our hearts were set on this perfect venue.
Although the weather was not kind to us on the day, nothing seemed to disappoint. The reception room was decorated to perfection [Colney Suite] and exactly how we imagined it to be – if not more spectacular. The food was excellent, the wine superb and all our guests had an absolute ball. Sue was and is a credit to the Hotel – with her kindness, professionalism and talent, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The staff are a credit to the Hotel also, with their friendly and professional attitude and made everyone feel so welcome.
A mention also to Nick the Toastmaster who was brilliant along with the resident DJ - Craig, who managed to create an excellent atmosphere in the evening – with so many of our guests taking to the dance floor and having a wonderful evening.
We will always have such fond memories of our wedding and it is thanks to all who were involved at Park Farm for making it possible.
The Bridal Suite was amazing, and small touches like petals on the bed and champagne in the room made our stay even more personal. A big thank you from the both of us to enable us to remember and cherish such a fabulous day. I would hand on heart totally recommend this venue to anyone who wishes for a smooth-free wedding reception with a relaxed, professional and extremely happy atmosphere.

When we started to plan our wedding we always knew that we would get married at Wymondham Abbey, but the reception venue was undecided. There were so many to choose from.
When we visited Park Farm we fell in love with it; the suite was ideal and spacious as well as a lovely private area outside. Sue was so helpful and efficient. She was very thorough with the planning and was great at ensuring that all our requests and wishes were achieved.
In the week running up to the wedding Sue made sure that everything was organised. We were able to drop off all our decorations with a plan and Sue and her team set them all up for us so that we didn’t have to worry.
On the day everything went perfectly. We were delighted with how Park Farm had transformed the Colney Suite with our decorations and the staff were very welcoming and attentive. The food for the wedding breakfast was delicious and served quickly and professionally. The transition to evening reception was smooth and the party started!
Our wedding day was perfect!
Many of our guests stayed the night at Park Farm Hotel, so it was lovely to be able to share breakfast together in the morning and enjoy use of the leisure facilities.
Thank you Sue and Park Farm Hotel for helping to make our day so special.

After getting engaged in January 2015 my now Husband and I started looking at venues pretty quickly. We looked at a variety of venues in the Norwich area and one of the last that we visited was Park Farm. We immediately knew that this was the right place for us, with it’s beautiful grounds and welcoming staff we felt comfortable straight away.
We promptly met Sue (our wedding coordinator), a wonderful lady who made our wedding planning extremely easy and smooth, nothing was too much for her. Whenever we sat down with Sue she was very thorough and keen to offer ideas from her experience to ensure we hadn’t missed anything! In the weeks running up to the big day Sue was in regular contact, she offered to print our name places, menus and table plans including the specific logo we had used for all our invites and other correspondence.
The big day arrived on the 19th June 2016. We married at St Remigius Church in Hethersett at 1.30pm and we arrived at Park Farm at 3.00pm, the exact time that Sue had predicted. Our purple retro campervan dropped us off outside the main door at Park Farm, such a picturesque setting. We were then greeted by Sue and Nick (our toastmaster). We had never considered the use of a toastmaster but Nick had been included as part of our wedding package. He welcomed our guests to Park Farm and into the Colney Suite for arrival drinks, gathered them for group photos and introduced the speeches effortlessly.
We had photos in beautiful surroundings before having our Wedding breakfast at 5.00pm. After a delicious meal and some emotional speeches our guests enjoyed coffee and cake in the conservatory whilst the staff prepared the Colney Suite for our evening guests.

To the fabulous Sue and team at Park Farm, where do I start?!
From the moment we stepped into this beautiful hotel we knew that this had to be our wedding venue.
Sue your calm and positive energy completely sold it to us, we knew we would be in great hands throughout our planning process with you. You went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect in every way and my goodness did you deliver!
The day was truly amazing and exceeded all our expectations and more.
Our wedding breakfast was utterly delicious, superb food and service from all your lovely staff, we couldn't have asked for more.
Even when you handed our evening over to Kate you would never have known the transition. She was also fantastic!
What an amazing team!
We would like to thank you all for a brilliant experience and will be highly recommending Park Farm to anyone and everyone.
We look forward to our anniversary stay to see you all again and will be sure to pop in before to share with you our photos over a cuppa.

After Rob finally popped the question, the search for a wedding venue commenced. Shortlisted, we visited Park Farm Hotel and it beat the other venues by a country mile.
First impressions count, and we loved the driveway and imagined some lovely photos in this setting. The grass and gardens were well looked after and all the staff were very friendly.
Sue impressed us immediately, her professionalism, dedication and calm demeanour made us feel very much at ease right from the off; very organised, she communicated with us effectively through the entire planning phase.
To make things even smoother on the day, Sue spoke directly to the lady decorating the tables, the photographer and the florist, arranging timings. There was nothing for the bride to do other than get herself ready on the day. I even got a sneak peak at the room the night before, all the chair covers and tables were ready, just waiting on the flowers.
Andrew and his team in the Imagine spa, also highly recommended, all the staff friendly and professional, and most importantly, the curls lasted.
All the guests enjoyed the day, smiles and laughter everywhere. Everything ran like clockwork, there wasn't an empty moment and nothing was rushed. The toastmaster was a good effect and worked hard, it was like "herding cats" to get guests moved for photographs!
The food was excellent, as was the service, drinks were topped up and no one was left wanting. The evening cheese and biscuits went down a storm too. Craig Royale, the house disco, was amazing, he and the live singer I hired shared entertaining the guests.
Would I have changed anything, well, when I picked the date, I didn't know it would be England's first match in the Euros!
A definite 10 out of 10 from us
By Ben and Becky, on 01 Oct 2018Date of Wedding - 30 Apr 2016
We recently got married at Park Farm Hotel in Hethersett.
When we first went to look round the venue just after our engagement, we were impressed from the start. We felt very welcomed and noticed how happy all the staff were. The building and the gardens were very clean and well looked after. This and many other points made a very good first impression on us and we booked it there and then!
A lot of the pain of planning the wedding was taken away by Sue, the events coordinator. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she did a good job at keeping us calm and making sure nothing was forgotten. When we went for our meetings we were always offered teas or coffee and sat in a relaxed environment to discuss the big day.
The wedding itself, we have both agreed, was better than we ever imagined. We have had numerous comments from many of our guests saying how lovely Park Farm is and how the day went without a hitch.
This is a credit to Sue and her team. On the day they were always there when needed and always with a smile. Between them and the toastmaster Nick, our wedding day went by without a single problem. The wedding breakfast was really tasty and there was plenty of it.
The choice of meals to choose from is vast. It took us a time to narrow it down to our final selection. The evening reception was brilliant too.
Usually in a review I would say “would use them again” but I only plan to get married once! However, I will say, I would highly recommend anyone looking for a wedding venue to book an appointment to view Park Farm.
A definite 10/10 from us.
By Andy and Zoe, on 01 Oct 2018Date of Wedding - 16 Apr 2016
We would just like to start by saying a massive thank you to everyone who helped make our wedding day the best day of our lives!
As soon as we had set our wedding date we started looking at venues but none of them matched what was on offer at Park Farm. From our first meeting with Sue we were made to feel so relaxed and welcomed we soon realised Park Farm Hotel was where we wanted our wedding reception.
After our lovely church service at Scarning Church we drove up to the front entrance where Sue was waiting to greet us and we both instantly felt relaxed to see a friendly face! After some photos on the lovely front lawn and outside the old front entrance we made our way inside where we were greeted with our welcome drinks and met the lovely toast master who done a brilliant job of organising everyone throughout the day.
After our speeches the food was served and everyone commented on how quickly and efficiently the food was served and most importantly how nice it all was. The profiteroles were gorgeous!
We had upgraded our wedding night hotel room to the boutique suite and couldn't fault it! The chocolates and champagne were a lovely touch! As quite a few of our guests stayed at the hotel it was lovely to have breakfast with all of our friends and family and then we all made use of the lovely swimming pool and leisure facilities.
Thank you again to everyone involved in making our wedding day so special and a special thanks to Sue who answered all of our questions throughout the whole planning process and made sure everything was just how we wanted!
I'm sure we will we back again before our one year anniversary complimentary stay.

Upon arrival to Park Farm the thing that stood out to us most before stepping in to the hotel and meeting any staff was the fact that the grass was green and well kept in the middle of winter. After having a tour around the venue and meeting some of the wonderful staff our minds were made up and the search was complete as we knew we had located the perfect place for our wedding day.
In the run up to our wedding we stayed and dined at Park Farm a few times and each time were more impressed than the last and were so pleased with our decision to hold our wedding at the hotel. In addition to this our meetings with Sue ensured that we had everything we would need on our wedding day and also provided us with details on how our day would run.
On our wedding day Sue and her team were absolutely amazing, the day went even smoother than we could have ever imagined and all our guests commented on how polite and friendly the staff were as well as how beautiful the venue itself was. Our photographer Chris Bottrell was spoilt for choice on places for photographs.
All the staff played their part in making us feel extremely special and if there was anything we wanted they pre-empted our request before we could ask.
When it came to the food we along with all our guests thoroughly enjoyed our wedding breakfast and the evening buffet. Both meals were delicious and of an incredibly high quality.
We cannot wait to return to Park Farm and expect this will be long before our first anniversary as we just love this hotel so much
