Me and my wife got married December 16th 2022. We spent months looking for the perfect venue for our reception but nothing could meet our needs until we come across the Adelphie Hotel in liverpool city centre. We made an appointment to have a look and see what they could offer. When we arrived at the Adelphie Hotel we was amazed at the entrance and how grand it was. We had a talk with the wedding team who are absolutely amazing by the way and They have great knowledge and experience as it truly shows at our wedding. We went for the twilight package for our big day and what we got included was amazing it was everything we wanted and more all in one Fantastic price. The dj that was also included in the price was incredible he was friendly and very polite and very talented. When we arrived at our reception we had photos taken on the grand stairs and it was absolutely stunning. Afterwards we was introduced by lana to all of our guests who was all greeted with drinks on arrival I would love to add. It was an incredible moment one we will never forget. We had one of the best buffets I've seen at any wedding that included curry and rice, chips, sandwiches, sausage roll, pork pies the list goes on and on. All of our guests loved the food especially the curry. After our amazing night was over we got to stay in the bridal suite for the night and wow what a treat that was 2 massive rooms and a massive bathroom and one of the comfy beds I've ever slept in. For every couple looking to get married, don't waste your time looking around when you have this incredible place that can offer you everything you need and want and so much more. I had always dreamed of having a traditional, big white wedding in a beautiful hotel and The Adelphi made that dream a reality!
From our very first meeting with Jane, the wedding specialist we knew we had found our perfect venue. We were welcomed with open arms and greeted by Jane’s warm and friendly smile. Her knowledge and experience of wedding planning were incredible, she was always one step ahead, bringing up little details and considerations that we hadn’t even thought of ourselves. This gave us so much confidence and reassurance that everything would be taken care of and nothing would be missed.
We were working with a fairly tight budget but Jane was fantastic at working with us and helping us create the wedding we wanted, without compromising on the things that mattered most to us.
Our ceremony took place in the beautiful Derby Suite, followed by drinks and mingling with our guests in the Grand Lounge. We then enjoyed our wedding breakfast and evening reception in the Banqueting Hall. The Adelphi provided the most stunning backdrop for our photographs, with its beautiful chandeliers, grand staircases and wonderful Edwardian features. There were photo opportunities around every corner!
We genuinely could not fault a single part of our day. Every member of staff went above and beyond to make sure both we and our guests had an incredible experience. The food was delicious, hot and plentiful and so many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed it. Jane was with us every step of the way on the day, even walking me down from the Bridal Suite to the ceremony room to help calm my nerves. She announced us into the room as Husband & Wife and helped with our timings as we were so nervous for the speeches, she is a superstar!
We stayed in the Bridal Suite on our wedding night and WOW — what a room to begin married life in! It was absolutely stunning and the perfect way to finish such a special day. Several of our wedding party stayed over too and they were equally impressed with their rooms.
The following morning we all enjoyed a full English breakfast (exactly what we needed after dancing the night away!)
From the planning stages right through to the morning after The Adelphi made our wedding truly unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue or a more wonderful team to help bring our dream wedding to life. We will always look back on our wedding day with the happiest memories and would wholeheartedly recommend The Adelphi to anyone looking for their perfect wedding venue!

The Adelphi Hotel is one of the oldest hotel in Liverpool with their classic architecture and decoration. We loved our venue which tells lots of stories about Liverpool. The Jane and team greatly help us to prepare our wedding. The communication is fantastic and every issues handled professionally.

We got married at the Bombed Out Church and the iconic Adelphi Hotel in early July 2026. It was truly the best day of our lives.

Highlights:
- We felt extremely fortunate to have Jane as our wedding planner. She was an excellent communicator, always warm, and genuinely interested in getting to know us and creating a wedding day that felt like us. She is extremely well organised and attentive but also makes you feel immediately comfortable and at ease. On the day, we were able to feel completely relaxed as Jane sorted out everything behind the scenes for us. All the other staff members we interacted with at the Adelphi were very approachable and helpful.
- All the rooms at the Adelphi are stunning, but we particularly liked the Sefton suite as it was the perfect size for our just under 100 guests. We also got to have a drinks reception before the dinner in the Grande Lounge which felt very special. Many of our guests commented on how unique and iconic the venue was. Despite the grandeur, the Adelphi did not feel at all stiff or stuffy, but actually has quite a laid-back vibe which allowed our guests to feel at ease and have fun!
- The bridal suites were so beautiful, elegant and huge with lots of natural light. Perfect place for the bridal party to get ready, do make up and take photographs.
- The tiramisu dessert was the best we have ever tried! We also liked the fishcakes.
- The hotel is large enough for all guests to book a room.
- The drinks are very affordable.
- The party can go on until late (we were dancing until 1 am) which is great as other venues I have visited for weddings finish earlier. The Adelphi set up a wooden dance floor and stage for our DJs which was perfect.

Considerations:
- When booking your wedding date, make sure to check the price of the Adelphi accommodation for those days as they fluctuate a lot depending on demand (think big concerts, football match days).

Overall, we feel so lucky to have had the best day we could ever imagine at two iconic venues. Just perfect. We are so grateful to Jane for everything she did in making it happen. And the rest of the Adelphi team. THANK YOU!

Jane was absolutely amazing, helped us from start to finish. The bridal suite was majestic and we took some great shots in there .The food was fantastic, we all went for seconds, some even thirds. Everything looked so beautiful and classy. Could not have picked a better place.
The only issue we had was with our DJ as he declined to put out playlists on and was smoking outside for most of the night.
Even with this small issue everyone enjoyed and me and Ben had the best night ever xx

The Adelphi Hotel was a fanatic place to hold my son’s wedding. The rooms are spacious and quite beautiful. Jane, the wedding coordinator was incredible. She was professional, friendly and beyond helpful. Would definitely recommend the hotel and Jane. We had a fantastic experience from start to finish.

From our first visit and meet with Jane, Lana and the team we were put instantly at ease. They talked us through every detail and helped us shape our perfect day. Nothing is too much for them and they really go the extra mile to make your day magical

The hotel is a timeless classic, like stepping into Downton Abbey. Our room was perfect and my guests said the same. Spotless and comfortable

Their chef is a master at his craft and everyone kept complimenting the food, waiting staff were always on hand to make sure everything was perfect.

The whole team gave us our perfect day and I couldn't thank them enough!

We had our wedding at the Adelphi on the 9th August 2025, and it was the best day! I can’t recommend it enough we had the best time, everything was perfect and Jane our wedding coordinator planned everything perfectly which made our day run so smoothly! She is absolutely brilliant! 🤩
