What do we do?

We are a dedicated dog wedding chaperone service who cares for and manages your dog on your wedding day. From transportation to supervision, we ensure your pup is comfortable, safe, and included in all the right moments—whether that’s walking down the aisle, posing for photos, or mingling with guests.

We work behind the scenes so you don’t have to worry about logistics like toilet breaks, feeding, or keeping your dog calm in a busy environment. We coordinate with your vendors, handle any unexpected needs, and provide loving, experienced care—so your dog can be part of your celebration, stress-free.

My Story

My name is Daisy and I am the founder of The Dog Duchess, your dedicated dog wedding chaperone, based in South Wales.

​​Me and my now husband got married in December 2024 and we found it difficult to find a way to include our fur baby Brian on the our special day. This made me realise how important it is to find a way to help others include their beloved fur family members during the big day, after all, they are family too.

​For as long as I can remember, dogs have been a central part of my world. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of working with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. My experience spans years of hands-on care, training and walking. I understand how much your dog means to you, and I treat every furry friend in my care like one of my own.

​Whether your dog is outgoing or a little on the shy side, I’m here to give them the attention and care they deserve while you focus on enjoying every moment. Because let’s be honest — weddings are better with dogs.
