Lakeland Wedding Art, in Grange Over Sands, Cumbria, is a live illustrator artist called Jo who creates bespoke mini-portraits of wedding guests.

Based in South Lakeland, Jo paints in-the-moment illustrations with speed and care and to a high standard. Guests are invited to visit the Artist's Table for a speedy live portrait. Each painting is made using watercolour and ink and sealed in a clear sleeve so that guests can take their portrait home with them as a unique memento of your special day.

Jo has years of experience as a professional artist working in and around the beautiful Lake District. She's warm and friendly, loves meeting folks and chatting with the person she's sketching. However, they won't need to hang around too long; a quick photo ensures Jo captures the image so that your guests can mingle and enjoy the wedding while she finishes painting.

Services Offered

There are three packages for you to choose from, including more intimate packages for elopements and vow renewals, and beyond that, Jo invites you to contact with any requirements you have; she completely tailors her service to your wedding. Each portrait aims to create the character of that person in a single sketch, and in the same way, she'll work with you to ensure that the service is the perfect addition to everything else you've planned for your wedding.

Additional pieces she offers, depending on the package, include a portrait of your wedding cake and a large portrait of the happy couple, which will contain more detail and will be posted to you after the wedding. As Jo loves natural elements in art, she can also include your floral decorations in your personal portrait.
