Nick & Alex were the best team, when we first talked it was obvious Nick would be able to cope with our energy. We busy jobs and although we are competent in project management roles, we really wanted a planner that would really take the stress out of the whole process ~ JAW smashed the brief!!!
We had a WhatsApp group for all communications and they always responded quickly (even if we said it could wait) and were always ready and willing to help us out.
They helped us round up all of the vendors we needed, it was never a pressure or hard sell to pick a JAW partner, we had visions for certain aspects and Nick & Alex found exactly what we needed. They gently nudged us when we needed to make decisions and guided us in the entire timeline and process.
On the wedding day, they were just great, always smiling, they got stuck in with making sure the details were just right, helping the venue out with final touches, doing a walk through with the groom party to check it was all just so. Nick even made sure my Dad who is a wheelchair user had a cup of coffee whilst he waited for everybody to arrive and assemble. We felt completely at ease and they totally made us feel calm and confident that everything was in hand - we had lots of down time together and ran on time the entire day!!
Beforehand, we said 'just put a glass of champagne in our hands and tell us where we need to be' ... they did exactly that! there was food and drink in front of us at all times and every single wish on our list was ticked off.
Nick was our MC and he kept the vibe lively, he matched our guests energy at all times, not an easy task - there were lots of them and we all had energy :-D He also said grace (just the way Nan would want) for us before we ate which was a lovely touching moment and bought lots of tears from my family.
There is nobody else we would have wanted to be our planners, they made every single second a pleasure and the whole experience was enjoyable. We truly had the most perfect day. These two have a special place in our hearts and we can not recommend them highly enough. -

We used just about weddings as our wedding planners and on the day coordinators, and would 100% recommend them! For the planning, out of preference we ended up sourcing a large number of the suppliers ourselves as we had a lot of local contacts and an idea of who we wanted to use. Nick and Alex did however help us find the most amazing bar company (M Bar) and came up with the idea of us having DJ live which went down an absolute storm with our guests. They were also r super helpful at helping us put together an extremely detailed plan for our day. We would however say that as we sourced many of our suppliers ourselves, it felt like we fell slightly off their radar in terms of budget management and the overall planning. Despite this, they were always available for a call and were always super smiley, friendly and helpful, and we feel the service they provided was great value for money.
For us the real pro of the service was the on the day coordinator - Dan was an absolute star, ensuring suppliers felt welcomed and that everything ran to time. Our day was absolutely faultless, seamless and calm, and we would attribute most of this to all of Dans help and expertise. Thanks so much Dan for making our day so special! -

Nick and Alex were the dream day-of-coordinator team!
Both were great at communicating from the very start, via zoom meetings and email.
Nick was so helpful in helping us to refine our timeline before the day.
Vendors and wedding party members were impressed with their level of organisation!
They so smoothly ran a wedding at which there were a separate ceremony and wedding reception venues (dry hire at that!) , troubleshooting any problems and presenting them with solutions (in particular I'm grateful for a couple's entrance song technology work around!).
I felt so relaxed the whole day, and I know this was because they were working hard! Alex and Nick were just good sports to have around on the day!Just About Weddings's reply:

Wedding of a lifetime
Planning a wedding in just four months sounds impossible, but the team made it feel like a breeze. I never imagined being a stress-free bride, yet here I am—still in awe. From day one, JAW was the only planner who took time to really understand us and our vision. That first call? Thorough, kind, and filled with reassurance that made the impossible feel easy.
Nick and Alex were patient, caring, insanely organised, and fiercely dependable—with a wicked sense of humour that carried us through the chaos. We had multiple events, different guest lists, curveballs… and it all came together perfectly. No fussing over budgets or cutting corners—just pure dedication to doing things right.
To JAW: You didn’t just plan our wedding, you gifted us memories we’ll treasure forever. We’re endlessly grateful.

We used just about weddings to book our DJ, Sax, Florist and Photographer. I’ve left each supplier a separate review but I just wanted to leave just about weddings as a company itself a review.
From the first call with Nick, I knew we were in good hands. We’d had some trouble from other suppliers but never had a doubt with everyone booked with Nick. We split our payments monthly and everything was so smooth.
We had our final calls leading up and on the day, all suppliers just turned up and did their thing while I relaxed in the bridal room. Everything was incredible, the flowers were stunning, the dj and sax really got the party going and the photographer has been nicknamed “Dan the Man” because our friends and family liked him so much. We’ve had gorgeous sneak peaks through already and I can’t wait to see the rest.
Planning a wedding is incredibly stressful, but save yourself some stress and book with this company. You honestly won’t regret it and I’ll point everyone I know who’s getting married in their direction.

What a frigging awesome team they are. The best decision ever to choose Nick. No wonder they are the fastest growing wedding planners in the UK. The thing is, even with that growth, you get personal attention from the chief executive. I don't know how he does it! Nothing phases him. So much energy, enthusiasm and love for what he does. All the right people in the right place at the right time. Wedding was 22 March. He only had 3 months to make it happen. Decor, live music, dj, magician, cake, flowers, master of ceremonies, coordination...the list goes on and on. I have no hesitation to recommend him. There are planners that charge 3x what he charges and do less. With Nick you get 3x more than what you pay for. Our wedding was flawless. Six stars for JustAboutWeddings.Just About Weddings's reply:

We cannot thank Dan and James from Just About Weddings enough for the incredible job they did capturing our wedding day. From the moment they arrived, they put us completely at ease. Weddings can be overwhelming, but their calming and reassuring presence helped us relax and truly enjoy every moment.
One of the things we appreciated most was how unobtrusive they were. They worked so seamlessly in the background, never making us feel like we were being staged or directed, yet somehow managed to capture every special moment so beautifully. From the group shots we requested to the natural, candid moments we didn’t even realize were happening, they truly documented the day in the most authentic way.
The sneak peek photos we’ve received are absolutely stunning—they perfectly capture the emotions, the laughter, and the love that filled the day. Every shot is so thoughtfully composed. We genuinely cannot wait to see the rest!
Beyond their talent behind the camera, Dan and James were simply wonderful people to have around. They were professional, accommodating, and so easy to work with, making the entire process stress-free and enjoyable.
If you’re looking for a photographer and videographer who will not only document your day beautifully but also make you feel comfortable and at ease throughout, we wholeheartedly recommend Dan and James. They went above and beyond for us, and we are so grateful for the memories they have captured.

Alex, Nick and the team turned our ideas into our dream wedding. They were highly professional and organised, and we saved thousands of pounds by using their suppliers. We even lost our venue, but the team found an even better one within a single day. The only negative is that Nick never wore the bright, colourful suit he promised :)Just About Weddings's reply:
