Full service!

Full disclosure - January and I went to high school together and are good friends. That said, she went above and beyond so I would have a beautiful wedding. She kept me on a schedule of things I needed to do and decisions I needed to make; got the price quotes from the furniture rental companies and florists and helped me to choose; worked on the floor plans once I picked the furniture; nagged me and my husband about writing our vows (we needed to be nagged); worked with me to design the ceremony according to my husband's and my wishes; and wrote a lovely, personalized ceremony.

Prior to the wedding, she prepared a detailed schedule and contact list for each of the vendors and the day-of coordinator. On my wedding day, she kept us on schedule and supervised the caterer, right down to telling her to iron the table cloths. And she performed the ceremony! If you're looking for a wedding planner who will take care of all the things you need or just don't want to think about (if you're like me), January is just the person you need.

No stone left untouched

I've labelled this no stone left untouched because that is exactly how I felt working with January. She is professional, proactive, reactive, supportive and good at what she does. The finer details that people miss, she helped remind me of them and solve them quickly. Despite having to deal with a bride in a completely different country it was very easy to coordinate and work with Events and ceremonies by January. She is also honest and accommodating to extra requests. Her team were great, organised and able to handle any issues without me even knowing there were any. The day was a success. I would definitely recommend Events and Ceremonies by January and would definitely love to use her again. I'm personally just happy that I moved away from the cultural norm and found events and ceremonies by January

Definitely fabulous.

We wanted a non-denominational ceremony but with an officiate that was relaxed and fun. January was professional, efficient, charismatic and we clicked immediately. She had great ideas about the ceremony, helped with our vows and organised everything that we needed. It was a huge relief to hand it all over to someone who listened to exactly what we wanted. We were thrilled with how the day went and would highly recommend her to anyone.
