D Semple Consulting is a wedding planning service based in Edinburgh. We work on weddings & events across the whole of the UK. Danielle has years of experience planning weddings, including those from the wedding venue side, managing suppliers, and coordinating on the day. This experience gives Danielle great insight into how to run weddings effectively and how to work best with both wedding venues and suppliers.

How we work

We work with most couples virtually via video or phone call as this fits into their schedules. We can also join couples on venue site visits and meetings both virtually and in person.

We can also meet couples in person, where they are based in Edinburgh & the Lothians. These are all by appointment only.

Services offered

We offer the following services:

Full Wedding Planning - For if you want expert planning for your wedding day, this includes on the day coordination.

Partial Wedding Planning - This is for if you already have a venue and some suppliers. You want support to get everything else booked. This includes on the day coordination.

Destination Wedding Planning - If you are looking to get married in Scotland or the UK but are based overseas. You want a local wedding planner to coordinate the venue and all suppliers. This includes on the day coordination.

Venue & Supplier Sourcing - If you need help finding the suppliers who will bring your vision to life.

Accommodation Sourcing - For organising accommodation blocks for your guests - these will be at discounted rates (where possible).

On the Day Coordination - If you want expert support to bring your vision for your wedding to life. This is 10 hours of support on your wedding day with 3 hours of calls in the 12 weeks leading up to your wedding for support and creation of function sheets to run your wedding day.

Ad-hoc Planning Hours - If you need support or advice with wedding planning. We are delighted to offer ad-hoc planning calls. This will be an hour to get support and advice and with 3 days of the call, we will send across any recommendations based on our call.
