We hired 2501 Events for our wedding, and unfortunately, the experience was far from what we expected. Promises were made but not kept, and what we received was completely different from what we had requested.

On the day, I dealt directly with her, and her behavior was extremely rude. She made significant decisions without consulting us, which was unacceptable. She also arrived late and spent a considerable amount of time taking pictures with her assistant rather than focusing on the task at hand. The wedding, which was scheduled to begin at 5 PM, had to be delayed by an hour because she had not finished decorating.

Her attitude was by far the most disappointing aspect. Even the hotel manager mentioned that she was the most difficult vendor they had ever worked with. Given the importance of a wedding day, we expected professionalism and problem-solving when things didn’t go as planned. Instead, she was dismissive, unhelpful, and often gave the impression that she simply didn’t care.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this was her first wedding, as I was genuinely shocked by her lack of expertise and professionalism. If you’re okay with decorations that look like they were done by a child and don’t mind unnecessary stress on your big day, then this company might work for you. Otherwise, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I’m happy to share photos showing what the decor was supposed to look like versus how it actually turned out if needed. Stay away from this company.

I would also like to add that this is the second time I am leaving this review, in order to try and scam the public, this supplier has advised Hitched that we never used them. This is another red flag.

On initial conversations with Dami i attempted to articulate my vision for her to visualise the most minimalist decor and provided her with snapshots of centrepieces and back drops. She did not want to arrange to meet with me nor did she want to meet with me at the venue prior to the wedding. For the centrepiece I requested for a few thick back slices with candles in hurricane vases and some green/white foliage. To ‘dress’ the table to look less empty I paid extra for this for her to add more bark slices etc. This was suggested by Dami for which she was adamant that it would ‘look good’. I explained to Dami prior to the day that there was 7 tables plus top table for which she replied a few days prior to the wedding that ‘I was only telling her this information now’. Concerned at this point as it got me wondering what else she didn’t listen to or note down. Nevertheless, on the day was even more traumatic. My husband and his friends supported in coordinating the day with Dami. Seeing as she didn’t see the venue, the arch she bought didn’t fit! She made an executive decision to tell the venue operations team to remove the stage without even consenting with us first! The centre pieces were an absolute flop! She brought tall fake candles, an extremely flat piece of wood to represent the bark slice, not a few that I paid extra for, and threw together some shitty foliage. A completely different version from the vision I gave her AND PAID EXTRA FOR. I can go on, but I feel enough said. To those who want a stress free day and someone who can resonate with your vision, communicate and meet with you, I implore you to stay far away from this event stylist.
