Will and Eve's Wedding in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

Our Real Wedding

After spending three years engaged, our wedding day finally came on Valentine’s Day 2026, held at Chicheley Hall. Our style was romantic, elegant and classic using dark hunters green and gold as our colours. My flowers were red roses (a must have for Valentine’s Day), sunflowers (my favourites) with dark green foliage and baby’s breath. The decor flowers were a variety of white flowers, including roses and dark green foliage.

We were blessed with the first day of 2026 with no rain. The day started cold and crisp with a light romantic frost, and soon became sunny, really highlighting all the wonderful features of Chicheley Hall!

Our day was a fairytale, a real dream from start to finish. We really made the day our own, starting with private vows in the form of a first touch around a doorframe before our ceremony. We also brought a penny from the year we met and had it engraved with our wedding date. We used this toss into the lake at our venue as a nod to our engagement at the Trevi fountain exactly three years earlier.
