Our Real Wedding

When people tell you your wedding day will be the best day of your life, you certainly hope that to be true. I can safely say that our wedding exceeded all expectations, and it truly was the best and happiest day of our lives. We got married at Salomons Estate, a stunning venue with exquisite scenery in Tunbridge Wells. Our wedding coordinator and the whole team at Salomons were second to none, making the day run seamlessly and ensuring we were well looked after. The food was incredible, and we had so many compliments. Our photographers, Pete and Mike at Sussex Media Design, were absolutely hilarious and made us feel so comfortable. They got amazing photos that we are so happy with. Each time we look at them, we shed a tear! My makeup artist, Rachael, and hair stylist, Nicola, made me and my bridal party feel truly beautiful and confident. They were our hype women and kept the nerves at bay by keeping the vibe calm but upbeat! Our DJ, Stuart from Mint DJs, was an absolute pro and kept playing banger after banger, keeping everyone on the dance floor. He had a song for everyone: matching the interests of even the youngest guest, aged 6, and the eldest guest in their 70s! The wedding bouquets and buttonholes created by Jess at 27 Wedding Designs were a dream come true. She absolutely nailed the vision in terms of style and colours, we were so happy with them! I had the wedding dress and veil of my dreams from Jan at Tying The Knot Bridal, who was so helpful and communicative when I was choosing my dress. I am so grateful. Stacey at Stacey Anne Bridal completed all the alterations for my wedding dress and bridesmaids' dresses, making sure everything fit us perfectly so we looked our best. Lajos at Gatwick Sound Photo Booth was so lovely and kept our guests entertained for the evening. It was an absolute hit with some rather questionable poses in some of the photos! But they were good sports and provided brilliant props to add some fun and silliness.Our cake made by Jen at Unique Cake Creations was not only visually stunning but tasted as good as it looked. She was so receptive to our flavour requests and even managed to create a banoffee flavour, which lots of our guests loved!Most importantly, it was the most magical and loving atmosphere for myself and husband. We felt completely loved not only by each other but all of our family and friends. We would relive our wedding day over and over again if we could!
