Our Real Wedding

Our wedding at Buckinghamshire Railway Centre was a celebration filled with love, laughter and a touch of vintage magic. Surrounded by family and friends, we stepped back in time with a full 1950s theme — from the vibrant dresses and sharp suits to the jive band that kept everyone on their feet.

The ceremony took place against the backdrop of heritage carriages, bunting strung above us and steam drifting through the air, making it feel like a scene from a classic film. After saying our vows, guests were treated to retro delights: a vintage ice cream van serving cones and sundaes, cocktails in hand, and the chance to hop aboard a train ride through the countryside.

Every moment was alive with joy — from the confetti-filled platform to the first dance twirl that set the tone for the evening. It was a day of music, dancing, nostalgia and togetherness, capturing exactly what we wanted: a wedding where everyone could relax, celebrate, and share in the fun of a timeless era.
