Hey there!
We are the Snashfolds. If you are here right now, you know that we are elopement and wedding photographers. We are a wife and wife team. We offer celebrancy and video too.
We live in East Ayrshire with our two pups. We cover the whole UK along with a bit of travelling internationally.
We are all about making sure you have a day that runs smoothly and without stress. We love candid, and are all about capturing real authentic moments with a bit of flair. We want you to have a great time and it is all about making sure you have the best experience on your day. We want you to look back at these photos when you are old and have creaky knees and remember the time you hiked up the mountain to say I do, or how you absolutely smashed it on the dance floor.

How far in advance should I contact you?
Depends on how daring you are feeling.
We typically book two to three years in advance but sometimes have availability last minute due to cancellations

Our technique is to make our couples legitimately feel comfortable. We hand-pick our couples to ensure that you get the most natural, incredible photos that reflect your relationship and personalities

Wonderful creative Ladies!
A wonderful and refreshing experience with these ladies, did a couples photoshoot with them recently which was our first time and they made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera as well as comfortable as humans🖤
Melissa and Diane are so professional in how they conduct themselves and approach ideas for photos while also being so friendly and welcoming making for a joyful experience, can’t thank these creative ladies enough! X

Absolutely loved the service
We had originally booked Melissa for our wedding in 2020 which sadly didn't happen but Melissa had the flexibility to rearrange dates twice before our eventual party. She took time to get to know my wife and I and made the whole process very personalised which was captured really well in the pictures. She was happy to take direction from us but used her experience and knowledge to guide us. Would highly recommend!

Best decision we made!
Choosing Melissa to be our wedding photographer was the best decision. I was reluctant to have a photographer and I knew Melissa would be a perfect choice. Her and her partner went above and beyond for us on our day and we are even now glad to call them our friends. They were both amazing with our children and we couldn't have chose a better pair to capture our day.
We hired Melissa from ceremony until just after our first dance and she captured every detail perfectly. They are photos that we will cherish forever and there are photos they will always make us laugh because Melissa was able to capture the fun side of us and also have a laugh with us all which put us even more at ease, we both felt so comfortable and we just let Melissa do her thing so we could enjoy our day, I was able to trust her completely.
We couldn't recommend Melissa enough, her work is beautiful and amazing. Having Melissa and her partner be there to capture our day and be there with us is something we will always remember and we can't thank them enough.

Best Photographer Ever!!!
We had the best time with Melissa. Her photos are so personal to the day. Rather than just taking the traditional photos she adds her own little spin by taking photos of all the unseen moments in your day whether that is having a joke with your friends or shaking that booty. We was really pleased with all our photos as she took amazing photos of the everyone we invited and the venue itself. She will make anyone’s special day that much more special.
