Happy to recommend Shelley Costello, I've been delighted with the whole experience from start to finish. When I started looking for a wedding photographer her documentary approach instantly stood out to me. I'm over the moon she was available on our date! The whole process was very smooth, from agreeing a package to paying, planning the day to receiving our photos there isn't a single thing I'd fault. Shelley met online and at our venue ahead of the big day to understand our wish list and choose the best locations for all our photos. On the day she was efficient but friendly and had all our guests at ease. The resulting photos are everything I hoped and will allow us to treasure all the special moments for years to come. Shelley has given us so much more than 'traditional posed photos' and I couldn't be any happier. -

Thank you, Shelley, for the wonderful pictures you captured at our wedding ceremony and reception. Both the group photos and all of the candid moments you caught were lovely; it was amazing to relive the day through the images!
Shelley is not only a great photographer - she is a lovely person to have around when you are getting ready, and will always discreetly be capturing those magical moments! We received our photos about 5 weeks after the wedding, which was fantastic, and the slideshow was really special to watch and to share with friends and family. Her rate is very reasonable and communication could not be better. Again, many thanks! -

We would highly recommend Shelley and would definitely use again. She was amazing from start to finish, from keeping in touch for over a year before our wedding, meeting us and our kids before the big day, to then being just absolutely amazing on the big day! She was great looking after my Dad and captured all the pics I wanted and more, we couldn’t be happier with the end results, which were available way earlier than we were expecting. Would recommend Shelley and Josh who took our photos on the day. she was in contact from the get go and went along with our ideas, we wanted a very relaxed feel for the ceremony and a few photos after so only had 2-3 hours but Josh captured what we required, friends and family have said they were amazing and one person stated they paid 2000 for theirs and ours were so much better at a fraction of the cost. Would definitely recommend we have so many photos and a beautiful slideshow it bought tears to our eyes x Thanks again Shelley and Josh you both provided an amazing service xShelley Costello Photography's reply:

We chose Shelly due to her documentary style of photography as we both aren't photogenic people. She captured our day exactly how I remembered it and its so beautiful to see how happy everyone was on our wedding which luckily we have the photographs to cherish. Such a wonderful lady as well, so friendly and made us both feel relaxed and she comes prepared to get the perfect shots :) Couldn't have asked for more as the photos are exactly what we wanted. I used 'Hitched' to find a photographer, not knowing where to start to find the right one. I made contact with Shelley who was very responsive to my enquiry and after talking to her I knew she was the one. Her friendly and relaxed approach made me feel that she would be perfect.
On the day, Shelley was very professional and helpful, she even assisted the groom and best man in putting on their buttonholes upon arrival! She put my mind at ease when it rained, reassuring me that umbrellas would create an extra effect. She was right!
We loved her photographic style, particularly the natural photos and some funny ones of family members being caught "in the moment". She perfectly captured the day and sequence of events like a storybook in photos. We also loved the option of both colour and black & white photos within our photo gallery.
Our special day and memories have been preserved by the photos Shelley took for us on our wedding day. She did an amazing job and was great value for money. We would highly recommend booking her for your wedding day.

Shelley was simply brilliant. We changed our minds about what parts of our wedding we wanted to be captured and how long we wanted her to be there a couple of times quite close to the wedding and she was always happy to adjust and fit with what we wanted. On the day itself she was really excellent at guiding us to take key photos at important points when we would otherwise have been entirely swept away with the festivities. We are absolutely thrilled with the beautiful photos she took for us - we have a gorgeous mix of posed and candid photos of us as a couple and some stunning photos of our guests enjoying each and every part of the day.
