When we stated to look for wedding photographers, we were scrolling through Facebook and came across The Wedding Diaries, and we fell in love with previous wedding pictures instantly. We booked James straight away and that was the best decision we made.
James is amazing, from the very beginning he has been wonderful. James listened to our wishes and our sneak peek photos we’ve recieved are absolutely gorgeous and capture our day perfectly.
James is such a kind soul and we really appreciated our phone call a week before to run through the shots we wished for, every photo is beautiful and we can’t wait to get them printed and put them up.
Anyone from the wedding who spoke to James said what a gentleman he was and we can’t recommend him enough.

From start to finish, James was absolutely brilliant. We first came across his work online and were completely blown away! From the very first email, James was warm, welcoming and so supportive. Not only did he provide an amazing service, but he genuinely was such a lovely guy and was always happy to help, even beyond his photography.
We honestly can’t recommend James enough! We had such a laugh with him throughout the whole wedding day, and he made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. We definitely made the right choice!
We are absolutely over the moon with how our photos have turned out. They were 100% worth the wait! We also had a little sneak peek the day after the wedding, which only made us even more excited to see the rest.
Thank you so much, James. You honestly were a dream to have there on our wedding day! All of our guests who spoke to you had nothing but lovely things to say, which says it all. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to capture our special day!

We’re so happy with our photos and would 1000% recommend James to any couple getting married!
We couldn’t recommend James enough! The photos are absolutely amazing and we loved the variety of styles, including a great mix of colour and black-and-white shots.
One thing we really appreciated was how James spread the photos out across the day rather than taking us away for one long session. We got photos during the day, at golden hour and again at night which gave us a lovely range of photos. Plus it also gave us little opportunities to sneak away together, take a breather and actually soak up the day.
James put us at ease straight away and fitted in so well with our wedding party. So many of our friends and family commented on how professional, friendly and easygoing he was, which really says a lot.
The turnaround for the photos was great, and the process of choosing and sharing them with our friends and family was really easy.
We’re so happy with our photos and would 1000% recommend James to any couple getting married! -

We honestly couldn't have asked for a better wedding photographer than James! From the moment we booked, both James and Hannah (Bride Diaries UK) made everything so easy and stress-free, and on the day they made us all feel completely at ease. Having that relaxed atmosphere made such a difference and meant we could just enjoy every moment.
We actually booked our wedding date around James and Hannah's availability because we knew they were the perfect fit for us! We'd already seen them photograph four other family weddings, and every time the photos have been absolutely beautiful. So when it came to our turn on 4th July, we couldn't wait to have them there.
Before the wedding, we had a video call to chat through the timings and everything we wanted, including our family photos, and they made sure nothing was missed. On the day, everything ran so smoothly, and they captured all the special moments without us ever feeling like we were constantly posing.
One of our favourite surprises was receiving some sneak peek photos the very next day. It was so special to be able to look back on our day so soon and relive it all with our family and friends.
James has such a talent for capturing genuine moments, and both him and Hannah are such lovely people to have around on your wedding day. We felt so comfortable with them, and that really shows in the photos.
Thank you so much again, James and Hannah, for everything you did. We honestly couldn't recommend you enough and can't wait to see the rest of our photos! -

James photographed our wedding ceremony at Chelsea Old Town Hall in April, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we met him, he made us feel completely at ease, so we could just enjoy the day without worrying about the photos or what we needed to do.
James really knew the area, and we had beautiful photos in all the best spots. We even received our sneak peeks on the very same day (!!) which was such a lovely surprise and meant we could relive everything.
The final photos are absolutely stunning, and we love every single one of them. If you’re looking for a photographer who is professional, friendly, and makes the whole experience feel effortless, we’d highly recommend James 🥰!!! -

From the moment they arrived, they brought such a positive energy and made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire day.
The sneak-speak photos we have received from James are beyond anything we could have imagined and we cannot wait to receive the full album. Hannah's content creation was equally incredible, giving us beautiful behind-the-scenes footage and highlight videos that we have already watched numerous times.
What made the experience even more special was how naturally they fit into our celebrations. They took the time to get to know us, our family, and our friends, making everything feel genuine rather than staged. Having a husband-and-wife team was something we really wanted, and seeing how effortlessly they worked together made a huge difference.
Their talent speaks for itself, but it was their kindness, professionalism, and ability to make everyone feel at ease that truly stood out. We are so grateful for everything they did and couldn't recommend them more highly to any couple looking for a photographer and content creator. -

From the moment we arrived, he made us feel completely at ease. It felt less like meeting our photographer and more like being greeted by a friend. Neither of us are particularly comfortable in front of a camera, but James made the whole experience feel natural, relaxed and fun.
After the ceremony, we wandered around the streets of Chelsea for our photos, and he kept us amused. Nothing felt staged or awkward, and the photos reflect that perfectly.
A special mention has to go to his patience and dedication. Our 4-year-old daughter decided she'd had enough after the ceremony and wasn't playing ball for anymore photos after running out of confetti 🤣. We had only booked the ceremony package, so we were conscious of time, but James still made sure we got those all important family portraits before he left. He didn't have to stay beyond his booked time, but he did, and that level of care really meant a lot to us.
James is the perfect combination of friendly, professional and genuinely passionate about what he does. We're so grateful for the beautiful memories he's captured and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. Thanks again Kat and Ell. -
