When we stated to look for wedding photographers, we were scrolling through Facebook and came across The Wedding Diaries, and we fell in love with previous wedding pictures instantly. We booked James straight away and that was the best decision we made.
James is amazing, from the very beginning he has been wonderful. James listened to our wishes and our sneak peek photos we’ve recieved are absolutely gorgeous and capture our day perfectly.
James is such a kind soul and we really appreciated our phone call a week before to run through the shots we wished for, every photo is beautiful and we can’t wait to get them printed and put them up.
Anyone from the wedding who spoke to James said what a gentleman he was and we can’t recommend him enough.

From the moment they arrived, they brought such a positive energy and made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire day.
The sneak-speak photos we have received from James are beyond anything we could have imagined and we cannot wait to receive the full album. Hannah's content creation was equally incredible, giving us beautiful behind-the-scenes footage and highlight videos that we have already watched numerous times.
What made the experience even more special was how naturally they fit into our celebrations. They took the time to get to know us, our family, and our friends, making everything feel genuine rather than staged. Having a husband-and-wife team was something we really wanted, and seeing how effortlessly they worked together made a huge difference.
Their talent speaks for itself, but it was their kindness, professionalism, and ability to make everyone feel at ease that truly stood out. We are so grateful for everything they did and couldn't recommend them more highly to any couple looking for a photographer and content creator. -

We honestly couldn't recommend James highly enough!
From the moment we arrived, he made us feel completely at ease. It felt less like meeting our photographer and more like being greeted by a friend. Neither of us are particularly comfortable in front of a camera, but James made the whole experience feel natural, relaxed and fun.
After the ceremony, we wandered around the streets of Chelsea for our photos, and he kept us amused. Nothing felt staged or awkward, and the photos reflect that perfectly.
A special mention has to go to his patience and dedication. Our 4-year-old daughter decided she'd had enough after the ceremony and wasn't playing ball for anymore photos after running out of confetti 🤣. We had only booked the ceremony package, so we were conscious of time, but James still made sure we got those all important family portraits before he left. He didn't have to stay beyond his booked time, but he did, and that level of care really meant a lot to us.
James is the perfect combination of friendly, professional and genuinely passionate about what he does. We're so grateful for the beautiful memories he's captured and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. Thanks again Kat and Ell. -

He absolutely smashed it. From start to finish, he created such a calm and comfortable atmosphere, helping both me and my partner feel completely at ease and able to enjoy every moment.
The photos he captured have exceeded all of our expectations. The quality is incredible, and he has such a natural way of documenting the day that really brings every moment back to life. We’re genuinely so impressed with his work.
Everything flowed effortlessly, and James was professional, organised, and a pleasure to have around. We felt completely taken care of throughout the day.

Gina Sent on 03/02/2026We cannot recommend James highly enough. From start to finish, the entire experience was absolutely incredible.
From our very first meeting and initial chat, James was warm, easygoing, and genuinely invested in us and our wedding, it immediately felt like we were talking to a friend, not just booking a photographer.
We booked the duo package with James as our photographer and his wife Hannah as our content creator, and it was one of the best decisions we made. Both of them were so personable while still being total professionals. Everyone felt completely at ease around them — our families, our wedding party, and even the kids (who adored them and our daughter constantly asks to speak to them!). Nothing ever felt forced or awkward; it was just real moments, real laughter, and so much joy.
What really set James apart was how much he became part of the whole experience. He and Hannah were in on the family jokes (including the infamous “nature swim” 😂), chatting with everyone the night before, and laughing with our guests again at breakfast the next morning. It genuinely felt like they were just part of the group, which made everything feel even more relaxed and special.
The sneak peeks came through so quickly that we got to completely melt over them while on our mini-moon, which was the perfect way to relive the day. And the photos themselves are honestly everything we could have wished for. James captured the colours, the feelings, and the atmosphere of the day so perfectly, and his editing style brings it all together in a way that feels timeless, natural, and so us. Every time we look at them, we’re right back in those moments.
Honestly, we’ll genuinely miss getting to spend time with both James and Hannah, but we’re so grateful for the impact they had on our wedding and the experience they helped create. We’re excited to keep watching their careers flourish, and we know that every future couple who books them is going to have the absolute best time. James is someone we would recommend again and again without hesitation. -
