Palm Photography is a high-quality professional photography company based out of Bristol, England. Owner and experienced photographer Garry has been immersed in the world of wedding photography on and off for about 17 years. He takes a relaxed and informal approach to photography to ensure that you get the best results on your big day. Garry is passionate about wedding photography and aims to help foster a positive and comfortable atmosphere that will make your wedding day one to remember forever.

Services Offered

Palm Photography offers a variety of premade packages and bespoke options to give you a package that suits your needs for the day. My package services include up to 10 hours of coverage, a virtual or in-person consultation, and unlimited photos that he will edit and present to you on a USB stick. He can also cover venues within 25 miles of a TQ or BS postcode free of charge.

How far in advance should I contact you?

If I am free tomorrow and you need me, I can shoot your wedding!

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

No

Can you travel?

Yes, i will consider most of the South West, some of the Midlands and Wales - please just ask though

What is the charge for travelling?

It depends on how far you are - if it is within an hour of Bristol or Torquay there is no charge. I am flexible and reasonable. It also depends on whether I require accommodation..

What kind of technology do you use?

Digital

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?

I use a relaxed informal shooting approach and then post process/edit the photos in a variety of styles on Photoshop and Lightroom - the edit depends on the photo, bright and airy, moody and more

What kind of equipment do you use?

I use Full Frame to ensure the highest quality. I run a Sony A7 mki and mkiii (this is subject to change as I love to upgrade), I use a Sony 24-105 F4 - love the extended range and a Sony 70-200 F4

Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?

Yes, pixieset but this is subject to change

What's the delivery time for a photographic report?

2 months

Do you send all the photos taken?

No

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

Alone

In case of unforeseen circumstances, do you have a replacement photographer?

No

Do you have the rights to publish the wedding photos?

Yes

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Per event

If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

Yes

How do you charge extra time?

If you request additional coverage on the day, you will be verbally informed that it is outside of the agreed package and be invoiced for the additional time appropriately and fairly at an hourly rate

What are the forms of payment?

Bank Transfer or Cash and I am looking to take PayPal as well

How do you work?

My approach is very relaxed and laid back and I attempt to blend in to the wedding catching as many wonderful moments as possible without becoming the focus as the focus is on you

Wedding photos of dreams!

Instantly put us at ease on our wedding day, SO happy with the photos! We have never had professional photos before, Garry guided us through the process beforehand and we all had a clear idea of the shots we wanted on the day, it ran so smoothly! Can’t thank Garry enough, all our guests were so impressed with his photos! 100% would recommend Garry, he made the experience so fun and enjoyable!

Highly recommended and extremely professional
