Andrew Sadler Photography
Thank you for taking time to view my profile and considering me to be your wedding photographer. Having been a very involved groom a while back, I know how important, and difficult, choosing a wedding photographer can be.
Every single wedding I have had the privilege to photograph has been different and special in its own way. It’s this uniqueness which makes the job as interesting as it is, and being able to deliver a timeless set of images capturing the magic of a day for a bride & groom makes the job immensely rewarding.
My style, as you can hopefully see from the images, is a mix of documentary, fine art and classic wedding photography. I enjoy capturing those special moments which occur throughout a wedding day, and which are so often missed by the majority of people present; whether its the tear in the eye of the Father of the Bride, a mischievous flower girl, a supportive squeeze from a bridesmaid or the roar with laughter at the joke in the Best Man’s speech that skirts the line of respectability, my aim is to capture these little moments for you as I believe they create the real character of a wedding day. But I equally enjoy the occasions where I get to spend a bit of time with a bride & groom staging and creating fantastic shots for them to cherish in the future.
Someone once said to me “Pick your wedding photographer carefully as in years to come your photographs are the only thing you’ll physically have to show for it…….. Oh, and a partner”

How far in advance should I contact you?
You are welcome to contact me at any stage of your planning journey if you have any questions regarding my services, or whether you just need some advice on photography.
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No, I only shoot one wedding at a time. I take great pride in what I do and the work that goes in to producing a beautiful set of images does not just happen on the wedding day itself. I plan in detail for each wedding in the lead up to the day and devote a large amount of time for the post production process after a wedding has finished. Because of this, I only look to take on 30 - 35 weddings a year, as this allows me to give each wedding the care and attention it deserves.
Are you able to travel?
Yes, I am more than able to travel, whether that's within the UK or overseas.
What is the charge for travelling?
Depending on the destination and the logistics involved there may be a charge for travel and accommodation. Please message me with the details of your plans and I'll be more than happy to discuss what a package would look like for your particular wedding.
What style of photos do you take?
I describe my style as a mix of documentary, fine art and classic wedding photography.
What kind of technology do you use?
I shoot with the latest mirrorless Nikon Z series equipment. This industry leading equipment means I can capture all imagery in 45 megapixel definition (meaning you could print your images up to billboard size if you fancied!), but using smaller & lighter camera bodies than typically used. This means I’m less obtrusive and obvious on the day, and can be faster or more reactive to capture those spontaneous moments. I also shoot with multiple cameras during a wedding to safeguard against any unforeseen equipment failure (which hasn’t happened).
Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?
I like to get to know the couples I work with ahead of their wedding day so I fully understand what they are hoping to achieve with their wedding photography. Also I am unable to understand a bit more about them and what they are comfortable with, which enables me to apply a bespoke approach to each wedding.
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
After your wedding you will receive all your photographs on USB in a personalised presentation box. But also you'll get access to an online gallery where you can view your images.
Do you send all the photos taken?
Due to digital technology I am able to take a vast number of pictures during the course of a wedding. The number is often several thousand, capturing tiny changes in the same composition as the cameras take multiple frames per second. From these images I select the best ones to post produce and share with you. Every wedding is different, but the number delivered is typically between 350 - 500.
Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?
I predominantly work alone, but I have a team of industry professionals who I partner with on certain weddings to meet the requirements. For example I work with a number of second photographers and also videographers. All post production work is carried out by myself.
In case of unforeseen circumstances, do you have a replacement photographer?
Yes. In the case of unforeseen, exceptional circumstances that would prevent me from photographing your wedding I have a network of fellow professionals who I can call on to support. This is how the vast majority of wedding photographers work and something you should always ensure your photographer has in place to safeguard your interests.
What are the forms of payment?
I accept bank transfers or cash for my services.
Are you fully insured and covered legally to photograph our wedding?
I am fully insured for Public Liability, Professional Indemnity and Equipment insurance meaning I am fully covered to photograph your wedding
How many weddings do you photograph a year?
I aim to photograph approximately 30 weddings a year. Each wedding requires a certain amount of time invested in post production to ensure the product I deliver is to the standard with which I am happy. This number of weddings enables me to do justice to each of the clients I work with.
How quickly will I get my photographs
My aim is to ensure I deliver as many high quality images to you as possible, and as such I invest a large amount of time in the post production of each wedding I shoot. Therefore I endeavour to deliver all retouched and finalised images from your day within 6 weeks from the date of the wedding, although this can sometimes be longer in peak season.
Do you also offer videography?
Yes, I can include videography as part of a wedding package. Although I focus on photography myself, I work with a number of incredibly talented partners who specialise in videography.
Do you work with a second photographer?
Yes, I have a number of colleagues who will work alongside me as a second photographer on the day. A second photographer is a great way to ensure as much of your day is captured and is particularly useful for larger weddings.

Having been let down by another photographer we were lucky enough to be able to secure Andrew at relatively short notice, and are so pleased that happened! He took time to understand us and what we wanted from our photos, and on the day was so helpful in keeping things running smoothly and offering little words of support and making us smile. And the pictures were breathtaking!Sent on 27/01/2020
If he is free on the date of your wedding then you definitely should book him!
***** With Thanks *****
Had an amazing day, made all the easier by our photographer who, from the initial visit to discuss our wedding, to the final photos, was professional, communicative and understanding. Nothing was too much trouble, every request was noted and Andrew went above and beyond to ensure we received memorable photos of our day. All done with a smile and friendliness. Would recommend Andrew Sadler Photography or any occasion.Sent on 21/03/2020
Simply blown away by the pictures!
Andrew photographed our wedding last year and right from our first conversation we knew we’d made the right choice. He clearly not only loves what he does, but is also supremely talented. We both had so much fun in his company, and his relaxed but professional approach made the whole experience such a pleasure. We treasure the photos he captured for us and definitely would recommend him.Sent on 10/02/2020
