Muses by Regn Photography

Hi there (and congrats!) Muses by Regn is a Chicago ex-pat Photographer happily living in London with her darling English husband.

Regan comes from a line of American photographers with different expertise and subject matters - her grandfather captured animals, her brother captures nature and she capture people.

Regan started shooting with her beloved cherry red Nikon in her angsty pre-teen years and has since carried various cameras around in her handbag documenting her life, her family, her friends and strangers - all who have, in their own ways, become her muses.

Regan got married in a small civil ceremony in London, with her family shooting her wedding and that emaotional, candid vibe is what she brings to each wedding she shoots - your wedding is a PARTY and she knows it.

Regan photographs weddings in a relaxed, documentary style. That means natural, unposed photos full of fun and personality, rather than overly polished shots that could belong to anyone. She'll give you gentle direction when you need it, which is especially helpful if you're not comfortable in front of the camera, but she won't pull you away from your guests and party.

Regan shoots folks with the understanding that most people hate getting their photo taken - it’s awkward and can feel strange - but shooting as a fly-on-the-wall helps her capture genuine emotion that otherwise hides behind a posed photo.

Your wedding day goes by in a blur. Regan's job is to make sure you get to relive all of it, including the moments you didn't even see happen.

Regan loves capturing the whole story: the nerves while getting ready, the quiet moments between the couple, the speeches, and especially the dance floor once the party gets going. The after-party photos are often the ones my couples end up treasuring the most.

Regan offers coverage from a few hours to the full day, and every couple receives an online gallery of edited, high-resolution images.

She mostly shoots in London, or adjacent, but is willing to travel!
