Hi, I’m Joshua, the photographer behind J Kallenberg Photography.
Based in both Richmond and Dorset, I specialise in creating relaxed, natural images with thoughtful composition and a refined, timeless feel.
My approach is calm and unobtrusive, focusing on genuine moments and the loving interactions that happen between the big poses. I’m particularly drawn to soft light, authentic connection and capturing the atmosphere of the day as it naturally unfolds.
Alongside weddings, I’ve spent years photographing couples, families and portraits, giving me a natural understanding of how to help people feel comfortable in front of the camera.. even those who usually don’t enjoy having their photograph taken!
I also offer a pre-wedding consultation, giving us a chance to get to know each other, talk through your plans and make sure everything feels relaxed and seamless long before the day itself.
Engagement shoots are available too - a chance to spend some time together in front of the camera, create some beautiful images and get comfortable with my approach before the wedding day (without the entire family watching on!).
I’m currently offering reduced rates for selected 2026 weddings through Hitched.
