We found James through instagram, we knew from the start they were exactly the type of photo's we were looking for. We got I touch, had a chat and immediately booked! James was so friendly and helpful - he felt more like a friend than a photographer. He also kept the day running without us even realising at the time, and made our couples photos so so so much fun, we were just laughing the whole time and honestly forgot about the camera. We recommend him so highly!

We chose James to capture our special day as we loved the natural style of his work and the way his photos really captured the atmosphere of the moment. It’s safe to say we were not disappointed - James captured our wedding so perfectly, from the more formal shots with our wedding party to the countless candid images that were captured moments that would have otherwise been forgotten. James skilfully portrayed the atmosphere of our day whilst putting us all at ease which produced some lovely natural shots.

One of the highlights of our day came in the form of a golden hour shoot suggested by James - which to keep a long story short ended up in a quick dash up a nearby hill and resulted in lots of laughter and some of the most beautiful photos of our day (tip to anyone getting married: some of the best moments of your day will be those you just can’t plan!).

It was a real joy getting our photos back - going through them there was lots of laughter and happy tears. James even sent us a selection in the week that followed our wedding which was lovely for us to have whilst we awaited our full album! All in all we honestly can’t recommend James enough and have already had friends asking after him for their own weddings after seeing our photos!

As soon as my husband and I finished our first call with James, we knew we wanted him to be our wedding photographer. He is extremely down to earth, fills you with confidence and we felt like he understood from the very beginning the type of photos that we wanted.
Upon receiving our final photos, we were amazed not only the incredible quality but also number of photos we got! It's incredible how one person can manage to capture every special moment of a wedding, including interactions with our guests that we didn't see ourselves.

We planned our wedding very last minute and stumbled upon James's last available Saturday of October. The whole process felt very meant to be. Our personal wedding photos were so intimate and loving, and also managed to capture the full day in candids, picked up all the details that would have been lost in memories. Couldn't have asked for more.

We were so overwhelmed with our wedding gallery, we tried to write a thank you letter for 15 minutes and couldn't find the words, instead we ended up calling James to thank him personally. That's just how emotional and perfect our photos were. We originally found him on Hitched, and felt from the start he would be a great fit. We had our first call and booked James for our wedding photography the same evening. He was always happy to help without our countless questions and emails, and even took some time for a video call to help us plan the timings of our day when we were struggling to put things together ourselves. 5 Stars isn't nearly enough. I recommend James for everyone's wedding.

Without a doubt the best decision we made for our wedding. Our wedding gallery is beautiful and James was an absolute dream on the day, we were so delighted to have him.
