As someone who would probably rather go to the dentist than have their picture taken, I knew picking a photographer was not going to be an easy task. I scrolled so many portfolios and nothing felt 'quite right' for us. A friend encouraged us to look at Jake and have a chat to him after she attended a few weddings which he was the photographer.

What immediately struck me when looking at Jake's work is the eye for detail. Little snippets which may go unnoticed in the chaos of a wedding day but now I sit through and look at my own pictures, those details mean so much. It was also the most natural, easy going and natural first consultation we had with any of our suppliers.

On the day, Jake was absolutely perfect. He met our energy perfectly: respected the nervous energy of getting ready to leave to go the ceremony with calmness and then was our ultimate cheerleader during those couples shots. When we started looking at photographers and those couple's shots, my toes curled at thought of those poses. Yet with Jake, it became a key memory in our day. We laughed, were silly and genuinely enjoyed the experience. It's like having an extra guest who happens to have his camera with him!

Now we are home from honeymoon and attending to all the post wedding admin, I can't stop looking at our photographs. They are just beautiful and capture our day perfectly. I would normally say that it was a bit pretentious to say 'you can feel the energy' of a picture but with our wedding portfolio you really can.

Jake was incredibly responsive throughout the planning - even emailing us from his holiday! The turnaround of our images and video was incredibly swift and the software he uses to share his images is slick and easy to use.

If you want to feel like your wedding day is truly seen and your relationship can shine through then Jake is 100% your man!
