When we started planning the greatest day of our lives, we knew the photos would be the only thing left once the cake was eaten and the music stopped. We wanted someone who could capture not just how it looked, but how it felt. Choosing Ginger Jam was, without a doubt, the best decision we made for our wedding (aside from choosing each other).

Our journey with Chris started with our engagement shoot, and that day holds a special place in our hearts. He traveled to us without hesitation, and even when it started to speck with rain, he didn't falter. In fact, he embraced the chaos of us! He captured the pure joy (for me, anyway) of the moment I threw Kate into the sea at the end of the shoot - soaked, laughing, and completely in love. He turned a wet, wild moment into a piece of art we will treasure forever.

On the wedding day… Chris and Kris were simply extraordinary.

To say they were "photographers" feels like an understatement. They were storytellers. They were friends. They were witnesses to the most vulnerable and joyous moments of our lives. The magic they captured is indescribable. They noticed the tiny, fleeting glances, the tearful hugs, the bursts of laughter - the attention to detail was second to none.

What touched us the most was their spirit. They treated our family and friends with such genuine kindness and respect. They didn't stand on the sidelines; they laughed with us, celebrated with us, and even got involved in the evening activities. Yet, in the quiet, sacred moments, they were like ghosts—completely unobtrusive. We barely knew they were there, yet they didn't miss a heartbeat.

Chris and Kris, you went above and beyond for us in ways we can never repay. You didn’t just give us photos; you gave us a time machine. Every time we open our gallery, the emotions come rushing back. We laugh, we cry, and we relive the magic all over again.

Thank you for bottling up the best day of our lives so we can keep it forever. You will hold a special place in our hearts for the rest of our lives.

Wow where to even begin! We spent so long looking into photographers to capture our wedding day. It is no easy task, and I felt it was the biggest decision out of the whole wedding, as it is what you are left to look back on after everything is all over.

I must’ve contacted about 50 photographers, Chris instantly stood out from the rest. All his photos are truly stunning. When we first met with Chris (virtually), we could tell how passionate he is. He genuinely cares about each individual wedding/couple.

We booked to have an engagement session with him, as we are not naturals in front of the camera so wanted to feel more comfortable. Chris goes above and beyond and was willing to travel anywhere in the UK. We were apprehensive about the photos as we couldn’t imagine how they would turn out with us in them. However we trusted Chris, he makes you feel relaxed and provides prompts to help gently guide. We were amazed at the nearly 200 photos he sent us the next day!

On our wedding day, Chris was incredible and offered to help in any way he could from making us coffee, help carry things in and even helped solve a slight dilemma without me noticing, so it didn’t add to my stress. Throughout the day Chris and his 2nd photographer Jo were amazing at capturing natural reactions subtly in the background. There was the right balance between natural photos and then the slightly more posed couple shots which we enjoyed capturing.
So many of our guests and even the other suppliers commented on how lovely, helpful and great Chris was, all at the same time as capturing so many stunning photos. I don’t know how he does it, but he is a real gem. He even managed to send us around 150 preview photos within 3 days of our wedding, which we really appreciated because we were so excited to share them with everyone.
