We had the absolute pleasure of having Lucy Taylor from Gems Photography capture our wedding on 12th July 2025, and we genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. From the very beginning, Lucy was warm, professional, and incredibly attentive to the kind of atmosphere and style we were hoping to capture on the day.

She took the time to get to know us as a couple, and that really showed in the final photos. Every image felt personal, candid, and beautifully composed. Her eye for detail is exceptional. She managed to catch so many little moments we missed in the whirlwind of the day: stolen glances, joyful tears, spontaneous laughter, and all the emotions that made the day so special.

Lucy was so communicative and helpful all through the whole process, we had a couple of calls before the wedding going through what we wanted. We contacted Lucy (Gems Photography) well over a year before our Wedding date after finding her during an online search and booked her. Lucy great throughout, from the ease of booking her to a meet up over Costa to discuss plans for the day. She made us feel relaxed at this, and was open to our ideas (including a shot which involved her laying on the floor! See attached photo) and sharing her own ideas and experiences.

Lucy's communication was great, we used Whats App to share ideas which worked for us. On the day, she was with us for 10 hours and was amazing! Friend's looking at photos taken, said they didn't even realise she was stood there taking them! In the right way, Lucy blended in which is exactly what we wanted.

We received the online gallery within three weeks, then a USB in beautifully personalised presentation box arrived through the post.
