My wife and I booked Gary to photograph our wedding in September 2026. From the get-go, Gary was extremely friendly, approachable and made us feel at ease. The planning process went smoothly- Gary helped us plan all of the photo opportunities and showed great knowledge of the venue & lots of creativity in the shots.

On the day, Gary's associate, Grae, photographed the wedding for us. Grae was equally wonderful, friendly and not only captured the photos for us, but also helped with the running of the day so that everything went smoothly. It wouldn't have been the same without them! We were so impressed with the quality of the photographs we received and will really cherish the memories!

From first contacting Gary, he made us feel at complete ease and reassured us that he would take care of everything on the day - all we had to do was turn up! And he did just that! Exceptional service from an experienced, professional and attentive photographer - he took complete control and managed everything effortlessly - we felt like we'd known him for years! Would highly recommend - the outcome of his professionalism were photos that are beautifully natural, capturing all the joy of the day.

Gary was incredible from start to finish. It was so obvious from the moment we met him just how passionate he is about photography and, more importantly, about getting the very best out of the people he is photographing.

And this is no small achievement with us… because we HATE having our pictures taken!

We are definitely not the couple who naturally knows how to pose, smile on cue or look effortlessly fabulous while someone points a camera at us. But somehow, Gary made the whole thing feel completely natural, comfortable and actually really fun.

There was never that awkward feeling of “what am I supposed to do with my hands?” or feeling like we were constantly posing for the camera. Gary just knew what to do. He guided us when we needed it, let us be ourselves when we didn't, and captured so many moments without us even realising he was there.

What we loved most was that Gary made it all about us. He took the time to understand us, our relationship and what was important to us, rather than just turning up and ticking off a list of wedding photographs. He captured the emotion, the laughter, the madness, the little moments and everything in between.

He was professional, incredibly talented and clearly a true craftsman, but he was also just an absolute pleasure to have around on such an important day. He somehow managed to become part of the day without ever taking over it.

Looking back, we honestly couldn't imagine having anyone else behind the camera.

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding photographer than Gary. Even from our initial call a few months before the wedding, we got the sense that Gary was extremely knowledgeable, experienced, professional, and would be a joy to work with. We didn’t know too much going into the process about how the day would look, especially in a venue as busy and fast-paced as Old Marylebone Town Hall. Gary broke it all down for us in that initial call and had our nerves settled instantly. In addition, Gary was able to offer flexibility in terms of when we did and didn't need photography during the day, and gave us fair and transparent pricings throughout.

Working with him on the day was a pleasure, he’s so easy-going, understands how to work with the couple and the guests, and how to get the best out of every photo opportunity. Gary is extremely professional and hard-working, and the pictures were better than we had even hoped. An amazing photographer who went above and beyond to ensure he captured our day perfectly! Our guests were still talking about him even after the wedding, complimenting his professionalism and friendliness.

The efficiency with which he returned our full album of photos to us was incredible – barely had time to nurse the hangover before the photos had arrived!

Gary was absolute perfection from start to finish. From our very first planning call all the way to receiving our final gallery, the communication and professionalism were outstanding. We both felt a bit awkward in front of the camera, which was my main concern going for the photos, but he made us feel completely relaxed with plenty of laughs and gentle guidance. On the wedding day itself, he had a wonderful, calming presence that immediately put us and our guests at ease and somehow captured emotional candid moments without us ever feeling posed or awkward. Gary was very relaxed with toddlers and young children who were difficult to cooperate. Talented, supportive - Gary is essential ingredient to a successful wedding

We are so thankful for our photos and will treasure them forever. They really captured us as a couple and the adventure of our special day.

We booked Gary to photograph our ceremony at Chelsea Old Town Hall and then continue with us for part of our intimate dinner reception, and he was absolutely incredible from start to finish.

From our very first call, Gary was warm, friendly and incredibly communicative. We were still quite new to wedding planning at that stage and didn’t really know what to expect, so he was brilliant at walking us through everything and making the whole process feel much less daunting.

On the day itself, his experience really showed. He knows Chelsea Old Town Hall inside and out and was so helpful in guiding us, our families and our guests through everything. As a couple, you walk into the day feeling slightly overwhelmed because it is such a surreal experience, and Gary was fantastic at keeping things moving, managing family dynamics and requests, and making sure the focus stayed on us.

Although Gary is known for his candid style, he also took great care with the group photographs we wanted, making sure everyone was positioned properly, the light was right and nothing felt rushed. He was constantly thinking about the small details, from where people should stand to how my dress was sitting, while still making everything feel relaxed and natural.

He was also just such a lovely presence throughout the day. All of our guests commented on how friendly and professional he was, and we felt completely at ease with him.

We were absolutely thrilled with the photographs, and were amazed to receive them only around five days after the wedding. The turnaround was far quicker than we expected, and the quality was fantastic.

Gary is an incredibly talented photographer and a true professional. He brings so much experience, calm and instinct to the day, while still being open to trying different ideas and capturing moments you may not even have thought of yourself.

Gary was an invaluable part of our wedding day. He truly went above and beyond in helping us to plan and carry out a seamless day, capturing every special moment, and putting us and our guests at ease both before and all during the day. Many guests came up to ask where we found such a brilliant photographer!
