Chris is a lovely guy. My wife's mum found him on a facebook page. We got married in Inverness in November 2024 and unfortunately did face a couple of hiccups. Firstly, Chris had to cancel our pre-wedding shoot due to a family emergency which I completely understand but was just a little unfortunate as we had planned a flight up to Scotland specificially for this (we live near London) and found out as we landed. It then took a while to rearrange this. On the day of the wedding, Chris was late. We had agreed a 1030-11am meet but he arrived close to noon which meant he missed much of the bridal preparation (and the entire groom preparation). Moving on to the photos themselves, we did underestimate how many photos would provide good coverage of the wedding itself. In hindsight, 350 is perhaps not enough but this is down to personal preference. The photos where unfortunately watermarked with Chris' logo in the corner. I have no issue with this for photos uploaded on social media but felt this would have looked a little odd on printed photos in our home. Chris did agree to rectify this for us. Finally, the quality of the photos is mediocre. We had another photoographer for our other wedding ceremony and the quality was far superior. Some of the printed photos were definitely quite blurry. Perhaps this can be resolved with a new camera and/or lens. All in all, for wedding photography we expected quite a bit more given the price is similar to other photographs in the area.
