I’m Ellie — the proud owner of Events and Wedding Day Childcare! With so many new faces here, I thought it would be the perfect time to introduce myself. I’ve always had a huge passion for working with children and have spent most of my life in environments where I can inspire, nurture, and guide young minds. My background in Performing Arts and Gymnastics has played a big part in that journey — I love bringing creativity and movement together to help children build confidence and learn new skills.I’m lucky enough to spend my week teaching little ones from just months old all the way up to 18-year-olds! Every day is different, and I genuinely love the variety, fun, and joy that working with children brings. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching the next generation grow, thrive, and shine When I’m not teaching, I’m a very proud Aunty to my amazing niece and nephew . I also love singing, travelling, going to festivals, and spending time with my wonderful friends and family.The idea for Events and Wedding Day Childcare grew from seeing friends and family struggle to balance enjoying weddings and events while keeping an eye on their little ones. I realised there was a real need for a trusted, fun, and reliable childcare option — and I wanted to be the person who could provide that support, making special days easier for everyone involved. I’m Susie, and I’m so happy to be part of Events and Wedding Day Childcare!I’m a proud mother of two beautiful girls, Josie and Ellie, and a loving nanny to Sidney and Frances. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in different caring and educational roles. I began as an LSA in a primary school, before moving into a special needs school as a nursery nurse. During that time, I also worked with older children as a senior teaching assistant, gaining invaluable experience supporting young people of all ages.Currently, I work as a community carer—a role that is as rewarding as it is varied. No two days are ever the same, and I love being able to support and care for others in meaningful ways.I’d describe myself as kind, caring, patient, sociable, and trustworthy. Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, musical theatre, dancing, and cooking—things that keep me creative, active, and connected with others!
