If you care about the music, Martin is the pianist for you

Martin is a thoughtful and highly-skilled musician, and a totally professional wedding supplier. From initial engagement through to a formal booking everything was clear and easy to field, and he always made the effort to respond in good time. Weddings are a huge coordination exercise, so having someone trustworthy like Martin was a huge relief.

Creatively, he was co-operative, encouraging and accommodated requests that I did not think would be possible! He understands how important music is to people and delivers. We are just so, so happy with how he arranged and played our song choices (Debussy, Beach Boys, Les Mis, Billy Joel and Todd Rundgren) and made them moments we will cherish (and are still reeling from tbh) for years to come.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Made our wedding day unforgettable - highly recommend!

Martin made our wedding day even better than we'd hoped. He wrote us a personalised song that was perfect - it captured exactly what we wanted and was one of the highlights of the day for us and our guests.

On top of that, he was brilliant to work with throughout: quick to reply, easy to plan with, and completely reliable on the day itself - no stress, no last-minute worries, just showed up and delivered.

If you're looking for a pianist for your wedding, we can't recommend Martin highly enough. He added something genuinely special to ours, and we'd choose him again without question.

A true musician, not just a wedding entertainer!

Martin is an excellent musician and professional person. You are lucky to have Martin perform at your wedding as Martin would not be out of place at a formal state dinner! Martin goes above and beyond to ensure that you choose the music that means the most to you and is happy to learn any song. Martin is more than a wedding entertainer and to refer to him as simply that is an insult to how great he really is.
We really appreciated Martin’s flexibility in travelling between the church and our reception venue and setting his grand piano up outside at last minute due to great weather!
Our guests complimented Martin’s performance at our wedding, with one friend asking “where did you find him?!” He is brilliant and adds real class and charm to the day.

Every Yorkshire wedding deserves a Yorkshire Pianist - book Martin

We initially met Martin at a wedding fair in York, as soon as I heard him play, I knew we had to book! Martin added a special ambience to our day, everybody was so relaxed and loved the tracks he performed - his repertoire list is extensive! Big thank you for helping to make our day so memorable! Highly recommend

Seamless, professional, great vibes

Martin kindly stepped in at the last moment for our wedding in November 2025 following a cancellation and helped turn a stressful situation into a breeze and make our wedding day extra special. Having an extensive repertoire he adapted to the jazzy vibes we were after, covering our exact requests for the ceremony and providing further options. Helpfully Martin knew the venue and the general order of the day and provided a seamless professional service - all the right tracks at the right time, taking a few song requests on the day during the reception. Very pleasant and easy to work with, Martin blended perfectly to the vibes of our wedding day. Thanks for the top service Martin and helping us out at the last moment!

10/10 Weding Pianist

We got married in October 2025 & had the best day, in no small part down to the Yorkshire Wedding Pianist. He played before, during and after the ceremony (including the aisle walk) & then he played alongside a saxophonist during the drinks reception. He was absolutely awesome & I highly recommend him to anybody!

Something a bit special

Martin was absolutely fabulous from start to finish. I had always wanted a pianist to play at my wedding and Martin created the perfect atmosphere for our special day. His communication with us from the moment we booked him was excellent and we really appreciated that he played so many of the songs on the (very long!) list that we sent to him in advance. I would highly recommend Martin to anyone wanting something truly special and personal to you.

Can’t thank Martin enough

Martin was amazing from booking to his sets on the day.
I asked Martin if he could work with me to create a personalised voiceover set to music for the prelude to our ceremony. He worked with me back and forth to create it exactly as I imagined and everyone complimented it on the day (and cried their eyes out)!
He catered to requests in the drinks reception and gave the most calming atmosphere to our day
Super responsive to emails and will recommend him to anyone I know getting married in future!

Wonderful addition to our wedding day

Martin was absolutely wonderful. A few weeks before the wedding we had a call where he asked what we wanted including favourite songs & any special requests. This was easy to do as he had a list on his website as inspiration, but you could add 1-2 of your own as well. On the day it was simply stunning! The guests loved having him there. Thank you, Joe & Nicole

Made our ceremony so beautiful and our cocktail reception classy!

We had Martin at our wedding ceremony and cocktail reception - when we were wedding planning we hadn’t considered hiring a pianist, but after meeting Martin at a wedding fair, there was no way we could not. He completely transformed the ceremony and was very accommodating and supportive of our song choices, and he added a touch of class to the cocktail reception. From first meeting Martin, he has been quick to respond to any questions and a great communicator which really helps during wedding planning. Martin, thanks so much for making our wedding so beautiful, you were one of the best wedding decisions we made.
