Lydia has been singing for as long as she can remember—she often says she sang before she could speak. In 2023, she transformed that lifelong passion into a business, and Vocals By Lydia was born.
As a wedding singer, Lydia’s mission is to tell each couple’s love story through music. She works closely with clients to craft a personalised soundtrack that reflects their journey, style, and connection.
But her talents go far beyond weddings. Lydia brings her soulful voice to engagement parties, baby showers, birthdays, and any celebration where unforgettable entertainment is a must.
Wherever the celebration, Lydia brings the vibes and vocals to make each moment memorable.
Based in South Yorkshire, Lydia is available for events across the UK and internationally for destination weddings.

What is included in the wedding package?
From singing you down the aisle to your first dance, I offer custom packages to your suit needs and the timeline of your day. Typical packages include ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast
How far in advance should I contact you?
The sooner the better! My 2026 diary is already at 50% capacity, and my 2027 diary is open. I have a few 2025 dates so please do enquire!

I've been involved in music my whole life and professionally trained in singing for the past 10 years. I specialised in weddings 2 years ago and have been loving them ever since!

I cover within 10 miles from my home address for no extra fee. Any venues outside of this will have a small travel fee. Please enquire for an accurate quote

What is the length of time of the act?
This is dependant on the package you book
How much time do you need to prepare for an act?
From arriving at your venue I normally require 30 minutes to fully set up, sound check and be ready to perform

Do you charge per hour or per event?
Per event
If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

How do you charge extra time?
Extra time is quoted prior to booking. You’re welcome to upgrade your package closer to your wedding
What are the forms of payment?
I require a 50% deposit to secure your date. Full balance to be paid via bank transfer 6 weeks prior to your wedding. I also offer payment plans to help you spread the cost!

Lydia MADE our wedding. She thought of every little detail, and we could really trust her with both the intimate and fun parts of the day!

Wedding singer
Lydia came to sing for our wedding back in April this year. We chose Lydia because her beautiful soft voice was just wonderful & very fitting for our big day. Lydia came for just the ceremony & it was just perfect. All songs were sang beautifully, our guests all said how amazing Lydia's voice is and it just added that extra magic for our wedding day. Thank you Lydia once again for accepting to be out vocalist on our big day, we were beyond happy and would highly recommend Lydia to anyone thinking of having a vocalist.

Perfect voice for our wedding!
We couldn’t recommend Lydia enough. We received so many compliments about her and how wonderful her voice is! She made the planning process so easy, meeting with us before our wedding and finalising a set list, taking into account our likes and dislikes. It was especially amazing to be able to request three new songs for her to learn to be played at our wedding!
Everything was timed perfectly and Lydia helped make the atmosphere for our ceremony and drinks reception extra special.

Stunning personalised service
Talulah sant at my wedding ceremony, we gave her a varied list of requests, from country to pop, all of which she executed to fit perfectly to our venue and our ceremony. She is quick to communicate and send samples so you know exactly what you’re getting on the day, and is open to absolutely any request for your day. Her voice is stunning and can make any song ‘wedding appropriate’! We had so so many compliments on the music she provided. Her prices are so good for the quality of service you get, I would highly recommend hiring her for your wedding or event.
