The Pips - A talented and unique all-female trio, The Pips offer popular classics from the 60’s to present day, perfectly complete with lush 3-part harmonies!

Featuring superb vocals, acoustic guitar and cajon, you can expect to hear acoustic versions of your favourite hits old and new! The Ivys repertoire is eclectic and spans icons from Amy Winehouse to Stevie Wonder, the Spice Girls to Elvis, Basement Jaxx to George Ezra and tons more!

Having played 800+ events internationally, The Pips have graced stages from BBC’s Top Of the Pops to the 02 Arena and even the Royal Albert Hall! The group formed in 2018 and have since entertained at music venues, parties, weddings, corporate events and more across the UK and Europe!

Services Offered

The Pips are available in a range of lineups to suit different parts of your day. The acoustic duo is perfect for an elegant ceremony or drinks reception. Their feisty trio adds a bit more energy and is a great choice for a drinks reception or evening party in a smaller venue. The party band takes care of everything from your first dance to the end of the night. Each set up has the option for a DJ service also.

Repertoire:

Our repertoire is always evolving and currently includes around 4 hours of music spanning the decades plus contemporary hits from Dua Lipa, Fleetwood Mac, Bob Marley, kygo, harry styles and many more!

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?

Yes, for Wedding Ceremonies we can learn up to 3 songs. We are also happy to learn your first dance when the band is booked for the evening reception

Do you have your own equipment?

Yes

Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?

Yes, es, access to a 13amp (standard) power supply. Cover if asked to perform outside

Can you travel?

Yes, yes we play nationwide and travel abroad for weddings also!

Is there a charge for travelling?

Yes, yes, for bookings over 2 hours away we charge a petrol charge and for bookings more than 3 hours away we may need to add an accommodation charge

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

No

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

Alone

What is the length of time of the act?

Our usual performance is around 100 mins which we usually split into 2 x 50 mins or 20, 40, 40 split

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

For our acoustic duo and trio we only require 30 mins to set up but for the full band it can take 45mins/1 hour

Do you do open-air acts?

Yes

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Per event

If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

Yes

How do you charge extra time?

We are happy to negotiate extra hours and offer package deals for customers wanting music for more than one part of the day

What are the forms of payment?

We take bank transfer in advance of the wedding date

The best decision we ever made!

There are not enough words to explain how awesome this group really was during our wedding day. They were amazing beginning to end. They were so responsive to questions throughout the planning process, and even tailored their sets to fit our music tastes. I cannot recommend this group enough. Everyone who attended our reception is still talking about them and all agreed that they had such an impact on the party vibe! They not only mixed in songs and kept every single guest on the dance floor, but they incorporated humor and dialog at just the right times that elevated the experience!! They helped speeches run smoothly, gave announcements as needed, and was just an absolute joy to work with. They also radiate positive energy. You can just tell they love what they do and talent shines through like you would not believe. I only wish our reception was longer to have had more time on the dance floor!!!

The Pips great band

I have seen the Pips on a number of occasions and have always been very impressed with the way they perform together very professional, yet fun. You can tell they are great friends. I have seen them in lots of different situations from busking, house gigs, pubs, weddings and theatre. Strongly recommend them.

Awesome Every Time.

My partner and I take every opportunity to see the Pips play over for many years. During Covid we watched their live stream performances. The girls deliver an amazing performance each and every time.

Audience member at Kenilworth Xmas lights event

Absolutely stunning vocals and music from the two performers on stage, although they are trio and you can view the performances of all three online. The sheer energy, passion, talent and charisma from their voices, a guitar and drumming on a simple wooden box is mesmerising.

They had everyone singing & dancing, nobody wanted them to finish. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any celebration.

Fabulous band made a fabulous fortieth!

Absolutely brilliant 3 sets from the band that made my night brilliant! All anyone talked about after my party were how good the band were. The communication was perfect from day one and the band did everything I asked, I couldn’t recommend enough and will definitely be booking for any future events!

Truly amazing!!! Highlight of our wedding

We’d seen the girls perform before and always knew they’d be our absolute dream band for our wedding. They were absolutely incredible and surpassed all of our expectations - they really made our day so memorable and hiring them was the best decision we made. All of our guests said how brilliant they were and how individual it made the day - they are so so so much more than a wedding/event band. Can’t recommend them highly enough!!

These girls are amazing.

Incredibly talented and put everything into every single show. Cover a huge variety of genres - they put their unique stamp on anything! Would highly recommend them for any event and can’t wait to see them again!

I have seen The Pips work pure alchemy on a room. It was a gig in Leamington Spa and their choices and performance were beyond exceptional. They took a packed house on a journey with music and vocals that were extraordinary and the joyous vibe left at the end stayed with me for days. The best.

Amazing!!!!

Booked the girls for my mums 50th as a surprise after seeing them perform in a bar for the new year and we loved them. Also re-booked for my 30th. We have seen them perform many times since and never fail to amaze us. Would highly recommend.
