Whether you’re looking to be accompanied down the aisle with a beautiful ballad, serenaded with some soulful tunes during your drinks reception, or you just want to dance to some acoustic indie bangers during your evening reception, you’ve come to the right place.

What is included in the wedding package?

My standard wedding package is 45 minutes of arrival music, ceremony music (bridal procession and signing of register) and 45 minute drinks reception music. Though all packages are customisable

How far in advance should I contact you?

The more notice the better and higher chance of availability. But I’m more than happy to take last minute bookings as long as I’m available

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?

Though I can’t always guarantee I’ll be able to learn all the songs you want, I will always encourage you to tell me the songs you love and take them into consideration when preparing my setlist

What's your experience?

I have been playing guitar and singing since I was 12 (14 years ago) and have been gigging professionally for the last 5 years

Do you have your own equipment?

Yes

Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?

Yes, electricity is my only requirement (1 x 13 amp socket). I can run an extension lead from the mains if needed

Can you travel?

Yes, i can travel UK wide

Is there a charge for travelling?

Yes, outside of a 30 mile radius I will need to charge mileage

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

No

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

Alone

What is the length of time of the act?

This will depend on the package you book. But generally, I work in 45 minute sets

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

Set up time is about 20 minutes. But I always arrive an hour before I am due to start

Do you do open-air acts?

Yes

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Per event

If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

Yes

How do you charge extra time?

Again, depends on the package, but I would charge extra time by the set

What are the forms of payment?

Bank transfer is preferred but can take cash in the day as well

Josh harper - party legend!

Josh recently performed at our corporate Christmas party and absolutely brought the house down. He provided a carefully curated set during our meal, followed by an incredible party set later in the evening that really got everyone involved.

I’ve had countless compliments from staff about how fantastic Josh was. He was also a pleasure to work with—easy to deal with throughout the booking process and seamless on the day of the event. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

Perfect soundtrack to our perfect day!

Josh was recommended to us through family friends, so when it came to checking out what he had to offer, it was a no brainier that he could supply the perfect soundtrack throughout our day. Josh has always been quick to reply to any of our questions, as well as showing enthusiasm to any song requests we asked for. Perfect music for our special day!

Josh is so lovely and made our wedding day really special. He was great at communicating and met with us to discuss what sort of music we wanted for our ceremony and welcome drinks. Josh even learnt a song specially for me to walk down the aisle. We had lots of comments on how good Josh was and was a perfect addition to our drinks reception. Thanks again Josh!

Hi there,

I'm Josh Harper, a musician based in Pershore that travels UK wide to provide live music for weddings, events, pubs, clubs and just about everything in between.

I first picked up the guitar 13 years ago at the age of 14 and learnt the chords to Viva La Vida by Coldplay. Playing guitar became my favourite hobby and I got pretty compitent at it. Eventually.

At the age of 21, I played my first ever gig and carried on playing gigs here and there for the next few years. At the beginning of this year (2025) I dropped my full time hospitality job to free up my weekends and gig a lot more. This proved to become my best decision because I went from playing 10 gigs in 2024 to playing over 70 gigs in 2025 with almost as many already booked in for 2026.

I am lucky enough to not only play my own gigs, but I also play in multiple other music projects:
