Wedding music? Sorted!

We’re The New Retros, a Manchester-based wedding band and DJ service (but we travel everywhere!). Our focus is simple: playing great cover music that fits your day and keeps your guests dancing.

We’ve played hundreds of weddings, so we understand how the day flows and how important it is that everything runs smoothly. We’re easy to work with, adaptable, and used to handling last-minute changes — which means you can relax knowing your music is in safe hands and we’ll take care of whatever you need.

Every wedding we play is different, so we create a custom setlist for every event from our broad repertoire of dancefloor hits, from Tina Turner through to Taylor Swift. We take requests in advance and are always happy to learn songs for a first dance or ceremony. On the night, we read the room and adapt the set in real time to keep the dance floor full.

All of us are professionally trained musicians with years of live performance experience. We handle everything from setup and soundchecks to timings and transitions, so you don’t have to worry about the music side of your wedding at all.

Services Offered

We support you throughout the planning process, starting with an initial consultation to talk through your musical tastes, favourite artists, and how you’d like the day to flow. From there, we build a personalised playlist and live set that reflects you.

We offer flexible band sizes to suit different budgets and parts of the day, including:

• Duos and trios for ceremonies and drinks receptions

• A full evening band, ranging from 4 to 9 pieces, for a bigger live sound

• Playlist DJ services (free with any evening band) or a full DJ setup with decks

• A DJ & sax package, either as a relaxed alternative to a full band or as an add-on to keep the party going late
