I got married on 22nd June 2025 and choose the New Retros as our musicians for the day. From the start of the process, Niran was great to communicate with. He was receptive to my ideas and very quickly accommodated my wishes, as I sent Niran a Taylor Swift mashup of songs to learn and adapt for the acoustic duo, plus another band member on keyboards. He was very reassuring that given a bit of notice, his team can learn anything we wanted.
I also felt very comfortable leaving a lot of the details such as which songs to play during the drinks reception and the band sets to the New Retros. Every song got our guests involved, singing and dancing, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about how impressive they were. The singer particularly had such a good range of vocals and really adapted her voice to the songs played!
On top of that, the New Retros were very affordable for the services that they offered, and the pricing was very transparent, unlike a lot of vendors in the wedding industry.
I can’t thank Niran and the other members of the New Retros for contributing to our perfect day.

From the initial call to the day every single thing was amazing from the obscure request to the most generic I could ask them and they would do everything they could to make sure that was happening and I couldn’t ask for anything more.
I would recommend them to anybody who is looking for a band for their special day a birthday or even just an event these should be our first choice -

Niran was great at meeting with us and letting us know how everything would run, sharing song ideas etc. And making our first dance work.
We've had loads of compliments on the band- definitely would recommend! -

Niran and the band were amazing from start to finish. Always responsive in the months leading up to the wedding and on hand to offer any advice. The set list that they put together was awesome with a great mix of nostalgic and modern tunes. A highlight was the saxophone playing us into the marquee before the wedding breakfast. We had several guests say they were one of the best wedding bands they had ever seen! Would highly recommend. -

We booked the 5 piece band with sax for our wedding and they were absolutely amazing from start to finish. Our first dance was perfect, exactly as we wanted it, then the rest of the sets were brilliant. The dance floor was packed for the entire duration of both sets, my guests won't stop talking about it. I simply can't recommend them enough! -

New Retros brought the vibes at our wedding day in May! The dance floor was packed out!
They were also super friendly to deal with, and helpful when we needed them to chat to the venue directly. You can't go wrong with these guys, highly recommend.The New Retros Live Music's reply:

The New Retros were amazing, they kept the energy high and the dance floor filled. The communication before the wedding was great, they listened to our artist and song preferences to create a super set list, they adapted to our first dance song perfectly to match our choreographed dance and on the night were very friendly and approachable. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a fabulous time!The New Retros Live Music's reply:

The Century (also known as the new retros) were amazing! I would highly recommend this amazing band and would definitely book them again for other events!
We had a five piece at our wedding on the 3rd May and it was fabulous!
The bands song list was great and had the dance floor full! We opted for the band to play two sets of 60 minutes which was great and ideal for our evening celebration.
We had the best time and were really grateful to the band for ensuring our first dance song was played and then performing the father and daughter dance song live.

The best wedding band - incredibly accommodating and kept the dance floor full!
We found Century / the New Retros through Function Central, and loved their style / tone through the preview tracks and the song list variety. Niran was very accommodating of our timings, with set up during the wedding breakfast so that it would disturb our second set of speeches. We had a pre call with Niran to talk through our music tastes and our first dance song which was great and really helpful.
On the day the main singer was sick but the alternate was fantastic and you wouldn’t have know anything different which was incredibly reassuring.
The band performed our first dance – Hold my George – George Ezra and it was beautiful! They also had all of the hits which kept the dance floor full and the party going. Special shout outs for Unwritten, Mr Brightside and Love Story which was just the best.
We’re so grateful to have had Century/the New Retros at our wedding and fully recommend them!
