We're Tangerine Republic - Saxophone, Acoustic Guitars and DJ! We provide live music and DJ entertainment for weddings in Cardiff. They take you seamlessly from your ceremony through to the last dance.
Based in Cardiff, we perform across South Wales and the South West, creating unforgettable moments with soulful live music during the day and high-energy party sets in the evening. Whether you're looking for elegant background music, an acoustic duo, or a packed dance floor, we can tailor our performances to suit your wedding.

Soulful Saxophone
Perfect for ceremonies, drinks receptions and cocktail hours, creating a relaxed, feel-good atmosphere with a blend of soul, jazz, funk and contemporary favourites. We can also perform your aisle walk or first dance on a saxophone for a truly personal touch.
Acoustic Guitar Duo
Live acoustic versions of well-known songs, performed with a soulful and jazzy twist. Ideal for outdoor receptions, garden weddings and drinks receptions where you want stylish live music without overpowering conversation.
Professional Wedding DJ
From your guests arriving through to the evening celebration, we can provide DJ entertainment tailored to every part of your day. Every playlist is customised to your tastes, ensuring the perfect soundtrack from start to finish.
Sax & DJ Party Set
When it's time to celebrate, we combine live Saxophone with a professional DJ set to create an energetic, interactive party atmosphere. Expect everything from disco classics and R&B to house, pop and dance-floor favourites, with live sax woven throughout the night.
Professional Sound & Lighting
We provide our own premium sound system and equipment, professionally set up to deliver crystal-clear audio throughout your wedding day, so there's nothing extra for you to arrange.

Due to the timings, I didn’t get to meet Ben until the big day, but he was so friendly and brought all the good vibes to the dance floor! He really helped create such a fun atmosphere and we couldn’t have been happier.

The perfect touch to our wedding!
There was a particular part of a song I really wanted, and Ben found a way to include it perfectly. When he showed us the preview, it actually brought tears to my eyes. 🥹 It was just beautiful and made the moment feel so personal and special.
He’s also such a lovely guy, which makes it even nicer to have him involved in such an important day. If you’re looking for something really special and personal for your wedding, I’d definitely recommend him! ❤️🎶

Ben and Evan were happy to meet with our planner/other vendors beforehand, always available to discuss set lists, preferences, how they could fit into and around our plans for the day. They were so flexible I think they'd have done anything from curate the entire playlist themselves to playing every song we could have asked for!
On the day, the saxophone set was a real atmosphere maker for our cocktail hour, and everyone enjoyed the tracks they'd carefully chosen to play. The DJ set was just as good, incorporating all our guest requests, our personal favourites, and a few surprises as well. The guys are super friendly, but you can tell they care about doing a really professional job as well, a balance that's sometimes hard to strike, but they managed it so well.
Would highly recommend them to anyone!
