About

String Musicians London are wedding musicians operating out of East Central London.
We are London's premiere string ensembles, and if you are seeking a string quartet, string trio, violin and cello duo, or solo violinist, cellist or pianist, you have come to the right place! Our team is vibrant, professional, and young but has a ton of experience. We have each performed for hundreds of weddings and events and countless concerts and recording sessions, both within the UK and internationally, and each of us has over 10 years of experience performing for special events.
Our musicians are the best in London. They work with top orchestras, including the BBC Symphony, London Symphony, and Royal Philharmonic, perform with Bocelli, Adele, and Ed Sheeran, and tour all over the world. Our musicians even performed for the Ambani wedding.
We take pride in what we do and how we play. As top graduates from the Royal College of Music and Royal Academy of Music Conservatoires, we're experienced and exceptional performers who love making music, whether it's classical, Bollywood, or a bit of Bon Jovi.
Our founders have been performing for weddings and special events for years and will help you curate the perfect playlist for your day. We have a wide selection of music for you to choose from, and if you have a special request that you can't find on the list, please let us know. As long as the music is available, we can arrange it and perform it for free!
If you'd like talent combined with experience, elegance, and reliability, contact us, and we'll help curate the perfect playlist for your event! In addition to weddings and corporate functions, we've played for many cocktail hours, birthday parties, and proposals. We believe we can offer something for everyone; our musical versatility is renowned—on acoustic and electric instruments, we can perform music in a more classical style, or we can play your Bridgerton or Bollywood favourites!
A string quartet has long been the most popular choice at weddings, and the series Bridgerton has seen an increase in string quartet bookings. The quartet is classy, elegant, harmonically complex, and visually striking. It's the go-to choice for larger events! However, choosing a string trio (two violins and a cello), piano trio (piano, violin and cello), or a violin and cello duo will not compromise on quality in any way, and to be honest, there won't be much difference in volume either. Both are more affordable and can fit into a smaller space. We can play the same music in all ensembles, especially as a duo - no problems there! If you are concerned that we may be too quiet, you can book one of our string ensembles with an optional add-on, and we can bring a PA system with microphones. Another add-on we offer is backing tracks, which we can perform with. We have a list of these backing tracks. A soloist (violin or cello, but you can also book a pianist if you wish!) is an excellent choice for an intimate event, like a proposal or private dinner.
