With BearFootSoul performing at your wedding, you can relax knowing an unforgettable experience is on the cards. He will play for three hours during your festivities, personalising his set to your liking. Whether you prefer he sings with professionally recorded backing or breaks the performance down into a stunning acoustic session, Matt is happy to cater to your needs. He’ll include all your favourite tunes in his unique solo act and create an electric atmosphere your loved ones will delight in.

What is included in the wedding package?
2 hours Live Performance, 1 hour Plug & Play Disco; 5 Hours On Site; Bose Pro PA with *cordless microphone for speeches & announcements. First Dance song request.

How far in advance should I contact you?
I'm normally booked up 6-12 months in advance. However, I would be delighted to accept bookings with as much or as little notice as you can give. If I am available, I will be there!

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?
Absolutely! I am more than happy to accept song requests in advance. However, there may be a studio charge if the song requires studio preparation to make sure it's perfect for the big day
What's your experience?
I have 25+ years performing experience all over the world with bands, in duos and as a solo artist. I've worked with the BBC both for radio and live performances
Do you have your own equipment?
Yes
Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?
Yes, standard 240 volt power supply within 2 metres of the performance area; Adequate cover to protect equipment from weather if performing outside; Flat level surface for set up and performance

Is there a charge for travelling?
Yes, 55p a mile travel fee. Travel over 2 hours one way priced on request. UK air travel priced on request
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

What is the length of time of the act?
I usually perform live for 2 x 45 min or 2 x 60 min sets plus plug & play disco in between sets. I can also play for individual special moments, such as while the bride walks down the aisle
How much time do you need to prepare for an act?
I will arrive approximately 90 minutes in advance of live performance to set up. Early set up / late departure negotiable

How do you charge extra time?
£300 per hour Live Performance; £115 per hour Plug & Play Disco. Live + Disco bundle is discounted 10% for couples on Hitched. All sets can be customised and tailored to your requirements on request
What are the forms of payment?
To confirm your booking, I ask for a 50% deposit. Outstanding balance is to be paid 30 calendar days prior to the wedding date. I accept payment by Bank Transfer

Amazing day with fantastic music
Matt was just amazing from start to finish. Super organised and really good communication. Made everything so easy for me. On the day Matt organised all the music for us and was fantastic. He was welcoming and got everyone up and dancing! He has such an amazing voice and I would highly recommend.

Amazing performance
Choosing Matt to perform at our wedding was a no-brainier for us. We’ve been watching him perform for a number of years and he is so talented. He’s an amazing singer with a huge range of songs under his belt and his energetic and charismatic performances have always been superb. Matt pulled out all the stops at the wedding and all my guests loved the music. The songs he chose to play were perfect for us and he was also great at communicating with the venue to make sure everything went to plan. Matt’s performance was the highlight of the day to us and to so many of our guests!

Reliable, great communication skills and really knew how to work the crowd. Great tunes and really accommodating with our requests. Would definitely hire for my next wedding (lack of emojis here lets that joke down)

More than we could imagine.
Bearfoot Soul helped make our day fantastic. from contact to the ceremony, there was constant contact and demos of the song list we wanted. We had Matt with us all day. his professionalism is second to none. Timings for when the music was needed were spot on and a happy, cheery guy. I would recommend him for anything not just weddings. The name is well suited to Matt, he has a real passion for what he does and sang from his soul, which shows in his work.

Wedding reception
If you want your wedding reception to start with a bang, then Matt White is your guy! 100% guaranteed to get the party started, with an eclectic repertoire and charismatic performance. Nothing was too much, he even took the time to learn our first dance song for us which made it all the more special. His talent matches his professionalism, making sure the sets ran smoothly and keeping to the timings of the evening. I cannot thank Matt enough for putting the cherry on top of our most favourite day

Our experience with BearFootSoul was second to none, highly recommend.
BearFootSoul not only sang at our wedding but sang me down the aisle and sang our first dance. Matt has left us with such special memories as he made the ceremony more intimate. We had so many guests asking who Matt was as they were blown away with not only his singing but his professionalism, effort and approach to the whole day/evening.
