Beautiful Atmospheric Music

Saltmarsh Strings exceeded our expectations

They played from an extensive repertoire of everything from classical to pop and film music.

We could not fault their professionalism. They kept to time, were flexible with their encores, and we had so many people comment to us how much they enjoyed them.

Professional music to fit your mood and wedding style

You must speak to this quartet about your plans: they are flexible, understanding, and play to meet the spirit and tone of your gathering. So many groups just play the same old stuff! Not Saltmarsh Strings, who vary to meet your needs from classic to contemporary music.
Moving along, I would like them to play for my funeral, because it wont be sad music! But I haven't got that far in planning yet...
Please look no further, you will not be disappointed.

Magical Evening

I attended a concert performed by the Saltmarsh Strings at Corpusty church, it was absolutely magical. The programme title was "From Beethoven to the Beetles". So the first half was classical and the second was modern popular music, which demonstrated the huge range of the groups' talents. The church has no electricity and gradually became darker and we left to the most spectacular sunset which enhanced an utterly surreal and memorable evening.

An amazing day

Sara played her violin at our wedding. She was flexible in providing the programme we wanted and was very approachable when it came to planning this. She played as my wife walked down the aisle as well as during the reception/dinner with different styles of music as we requested. The music really made the day special for us so I couldn’t recommend more highly.

beautiful wedding performance

Sara played a beautiful Bach piece during our wedding ceremony as we signed the register. she played beautifully and this was commented on by our guests who very much appreciated the music. sara plays beautifully, guided us with music selection and provided a personalised service. she travelled to attend the wedding and was punctual as agreed. she was responsive to questions we had and worked hard to ensure we were aligned on the plan for our day. thank you xx

Magical, atmospheric and truly unforgettable

Saltmarsh Strings’ performance at St Peter’s Church in Corpusty was easily one of the most stunning live music experiences. The quartet’s setlist - ranging from Dvořák to Etta James and Louis Armstrong - held everyone spellbound. Sara’s violin playing was ethereal, bringing so much warmth and beauty to the space. The mood shifted from a weeks-long drought to an otherworldly rainstorm during the interval, ending with the sun glowing through the church windows and a breathtaking sunset and rainbow outside. Sara is a phenomenal musician, and if you are looking for live music to create an unforgettable, atmospheric feel for your big day, I couldn't recommend Sara and Saltmarsh Strings highly enough.

Stunning music

The performance was just amazing. The audience were held completely spellbound by the quartet's virtuosity. Lots of wonderful arrangements of more contemporary pieces too. Great interaction with the audience at the end - an evening of stunning music with warmth and humour from the musicians too.

Incredible violinist!

Hiring Sara to play the violin at our wedding was the best decision we made. She is so warm and friendly, but also professional and a superb player. She played in the church creating such a beautiful atmosphere. Sara also played during drinks and has such a varied repertoire, even learning a few of our favourites just for our wedding!
I could not recommend this lovely lady highly enough.
Thank you Sara for helping to make our day so wonderful. ❤️

Superb music

I was fortunate enough to hear these fantastic musicians playing as a Quartet, Trio and Sara as Soloist. They play together in great unity, enhancing each other's playing. The atmosphere they created moved me to tears and gave enormous pleasure.

Absolutely magnificent! A beautiful addition to any wedding

I recently heard Saltmarsh Strings play as a quartet at a concert in a church and they were absolutely magnificent. The sound was beautiful and completely filled the space, it was one of those performances that really stayed with you.

Having also heard Sara as a solo violinist, they would be such a lovely choice for a wedding. Their music brings a real sense of occasion and atmosphere, whether it’s for the ceremony, drinks or dinner.

I would wholeheartedly recommend them to any couple looking for something really special and memorable on their wedding day.
