Saltmarsh Strings - Solo Violin, Trio and Quartet is based in beautiful North Norfolk. We are delighted to travel throughout Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire to make your event truly memorable.

Magical, atmospheric and truly unforgettable

Saltmarsh Strings’ performance at St Peter’s Church in Corpusty was easily one of the most stunning live music experiences. The quartet’s setlist - ranging from Dvořák to Etta James and Louis Armstrong - held everyone spellbound. Sara’s violin playing was ethereal, bringing so much warmth and beauty to the space. The mood shifted from a weeks-long drought to an otherworldly rainstorm during the interval, ending with the sun glowing through the church windows and a breathtaking sunset and rainbow outside. Sara is a phenomenal musician, and if you are looking for live music to create an unforgettable, atmospheric feel for your big day, I couldn't recommend Sara and Saltmarsh Strings highly enough.

Stunning music

The performance was just amazing. The audience were held completely spellbound by the quartet's virtuosity. Lots of wonderful arrangements of more contemporary pieces too. Great interaction with the audience at the end - an evening of stunning music with warmth and humour from the musicians too.

Incredible violinist!

Hiring Sara to play the violin at our wedding was the best decision we made. She is so warm and friendly, but also professional and a superb player. She played in the church creating such a beautiful atmosphere. Sara also played during drinks and has such a varied repertoire, even learning a few of our favourites just for our wedding!
I could not recommend this lovely lady highly enough.
Thank you Sara for helping to make our day so wonderful. ❤️

Superb music

I was fortunate enough to hear these fantastic musicians playing as a Quartet, Trio and Sara as Soloist. They play together in great unity, enhancing each other's playing. The atmosphere they created moved me to tears and gave enormous pleasure.

Absolutely magnificent! A beautiful addition to any wedding

I recently heard Saltmarsh Strings play as a quartet at a concert in a church and they were absolutely magnificent. The sound was beautiful and completely filled the space, it was one of those performances that really stayed with you.

Having also heard Sara as a solo violinist, they would be such a lovely choice for a wedding. Their music brings a real sense of occasion and atmosphere, whether it’s for the ceremony, drinks or dinner.

I would wholeheartedly recommend them to any couple looking for something really special and memorable on their wedding day.
