Ambassador Band are a wedding entertainment company based in Surrey, England. This seven to 15-piece big band provides stellar live music for wedding events throughout Worplesdon and beyond. They specialise in funk, Motown, disco, soul, and 80s tunes, and personalise every detail of their setlist to align with couples’ tastes. For over 12 years, they have proven themselves as masters of performance, winning awards such as The National Wedding Industry Award and more.

Services Offered

Ambassador Band are on hand to elevate the ambience of rehearsal dinners, drinks receptions, and wedding parties. No matter the event size, a professional engineer is on-site to oversee quality assurance and lighting equipment. Depending on your preferences, they can play as a large scale group or provide duos and trios to suit your style and vision. This talented team is happy to extend their hours upon request to facilitate your big day. They strive to play dance-floor fillers for approximately two hours. Ambassadors made our wedding!

The Ambassadors Band absolutely made our wedding – they were exceptional from start to finish! Every single guest told us it was the best band they had ever seen, and they weren’t wrong. The energy was electric, the talent outstanding, and the dancefloor was full right until the very last song, with guests of all ages up and dancing. They created the most incredible atmosphere and gave us a party we’ll never forget. Totally spectacular – thank you so much! We cannot recommend them highly enough.

Thank you

Ambassadors performed last week at our wedding and they were AMAZING. Thank you for the entertainment and getting everyone on the dance floor. I would highly recommend this band for weddings. They placed a mix of music to suit all age groups and their voices are amazing. Geoff was amazing to work with and went into so much detail when you spoke on the phone with him and make sure everything was covered. Thank you for making it the best evening for us.xx

Highly recommended

These guys performed at our wedding September 2018. The process of booking them was incredibly smooth and they communicated brilliantly with us before the day. They let us have input in the set list and were incredibly flexible. They did a stunning Israeli dancing set, as well as their usual fabulous stuff. They really know how to get people up on the dance floor and moving, they are so incredibly tight as a band and each member is outstanding in their own right. Their singers got on the floor with us and really got involved with the guests. They were professional, fun and lively throughout and I'd recommend them for any event you're planning!

They are unbelievable

This band is unbelievable. The professionalism in the work leading up to our wedding day, the flexibility in travel plans, the clearly rehearsed set list and their general attitude and excitement in performing were all well beyond the realm of expectation. Though all of this comes second to their unbelievable musical talent! You CANNOT go wrong with the Ambassador Band - highly, highly recommend! Everyone danced the entire night and we are truly grateful for their work and effort!

The most fantastic evening

James and I would like to thank you for the most fantastic evening we had at our wedding, you were simply brilliant. Everyone from my 90 year grandmother a 4 year little girl loving the opportunity you gave her to sing was just lovely; the music spanning all generations. Everyone of our guests commented on how talented and how great the music was and how much they enjoyed themselves. You made a very special day even more special, everyone dancing "all night long" !!!

Brilliant from start to finish

Geoff has been brilliant from start to finish. For what is a highly stressful occasion to organise (our wedding), Geoff made this part of the whole experience seamless and enjoyable. He was always on hand to answer our many questions, emails and phone calls and did so with great enthusiasm and support. The band were amazing, hugely talented and extremely enthusiastic, which is exactly what you need on the most important day of your life. Thank you so much.

Thank you!

I want to thank you for your amazing work at our wedding.
Your music made the party great.
The horah was wonderful and you played so many of our favourite songs.

Also, Geoff's meticulous planning in advance really inspired confidence in the months leading up to the wedding. We appreciated all the organization.

I would recommend your band to ANYONE looking to hire one. In fact, one couple at the wedding that's looking to get married said they would seriously consider hiring Ambassador because you did such a wonderful job.

An amazing band

Ambassador band lead by the band leader Geoff Walker was one of the best features of our Disney Themed wedding. They were with us from start to finish and every guest was in awe of the music and talent and professionalism that they displayed. High energy, like the real thing, awesome, fantastic, brilliant, talented, amazing were just some of the words used to describe this amazing band.

We would recommend to anyone and they were certainly one of the MMM of the wedding day and evening. Talent, price, value, high standard, professionalism, recommendations, wanted the best we could afford. Music was the most important factor to our wedding and they certainly surpassed all expectations.

Amazing!

Ambassador Band we're amazing! Me and my wife are currently on our honeymoon reminiscing over the day and keep coming back to how good Geoff and the guys were. Geoff was professional throughout the build up to the day and the band kept the dance floor packed the entire night. Our first dance was incredible and they did a great job of getting the guests involved too. So many people have been commenting on the band since the wedding, I cannot recommend them enough!

Loved the band

The Ambassador Band were a pleasure to work with and the booking and organisation process was a breeze. Geoff was friendly, warm and welcoming and super quick in replying to emails - a real benefit with all the wedding organisation. The band were happy to accommodate our request for a first dance, and produced an amazing set on the night. The quality of musicianship was outstanding and the energy that came from the stage was great too/

I think with the encores they played well past the booked time during the evening and created such a wonderful atmosphere throughout the night. The guests loved the band along with my wife and I and really made the evening so special. It was a pleasure to have you perform at our wedding, Thank you!

Very happy

Very happy to have chosen Ambassador Band. Extremely helpful and professional in the run up to our wedding which really helped us. On the day itself they were brilliant performers and had everyone dancing all night long. When they finished they cleared up very discretely whilst we danced to the DJ. V happy and would recommend them to anyone wanting a top-notch soul and funk band!!

Memorable

Ambassadors have a fantastic reputation and did not disappoint, making our special celebration very memorable. The whole team were extremely professional, accommodating and well presented. Geoff handled all the correspondence personally and he was easy to work with – a bonus when there are so many other elements that make up a large event. I knew I could rely on Geoff and the band to meet everyone’s expectations and was really pleased I chose the LED dance floor and complete staging package – it definitely finished off the party atmosphere.

Exceeded Expectations

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to you and all the band for last night.
The music was just fantastic and everybody had a great time as you could tell by the dance floor being packed the whole time. You guys exceeded our expectations and feedback we have had from everybody was nothing but love for you! Well done and thanks for helping make the night a huge success.
