About

Jo Jaleel Weddings & Events provides distinctive live music for wedding ceremonies, drinks receptions, first dances and evening celebrations across Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire, Liverpool and the wider North West.
Jo is a professional wedding singer and acoustic guitarist known for warm live vocals, soulful musicianship and vintage-inspired arrangements of familiar songs. His performances combine the intimacy of voice and acoustic guitar with subtle analogue-style rhythms, creating a sound that feels elegant and relaxed during the daytime while still offering enough energy for evening celebrations.
Ceremony performances can include music as guests arrive, a chosen aisle song, songs during the signing of the register and music as the newly married couple leave. Drinks-reception packages feature relaxed live sets while guests mingle and photographs are taken, while evening packages move towards recognisable singalongs, soulful favourites and upbeat party songs. A live first-dance performance can also be included.
The repertoire spans soul, Motown, pop, R&B, indie, rock and timeless wedding favourites, with songs by artists including Bill Withers, Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Oasis, Elvis Presley and many more. Couples are welcome to highlight favourites from the repertoire, and special song requests can be discussed ahead of the day.
Every booking is tailored around the couple, the venue and the atmosphere they want to create. Jo provides professional PA equipment, setup and soundcheck, with tasteful stage lighting available for evening performances. Carefully selected background playlists can also be provided between live sets.
With extensive live-performance experience and appearances at wedding venues including The Old Courts, Bartle Hall, Titanic Hotel, Colshaw Hall and Devonshire House, Jo offers a friendly, organised and dependable service from the initial enquiry through to the final song.
