Elliott Boot is a wedding singer-songwriter based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, England. He has a bachelor’s degree in drama and musical theatre and a master’s degree in songwriting and production. He has performed at several events and festivals, including Cumbria Pride 2015 and Sheffield’s Diversity Fest. He performs acoustic covers, writes original songs, and DJs evening receptions. Whether you want him to play a selection of your favourite pieces or compose a song based on your love story to give your special day that extra bit of magic, Elliott will do his part to make your wedding celebration unique and memorable.

Elliott Boot covers weddings all across the United Kingdom. He offers a range of wedding packages for your proposal, ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast, and first dance. Packages can be tailored to suit your particular needs. Elliott also has his own PA system with speakers and lights, so you don’t have to worry if your venue doesn’t provide any equipment.

What is included in the wedding package?

Depends on which package you choose. I can do just the ceremony, just drinks/photos, wedding breakfast, etc. Or I can do all day from ceremony and then DJ into the night. Entirely up to you!

How far in advance should I contact you?

As soon as possible preferably but if I'm free I can do a wedding at 2 to 4 weeks notice if needed. Either way just get in touch and I'm happy to see what I can do!

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?

Of course! however it is subject to availability depending on time frame (e.g a few days notice won't be enough time to learn a new song)

What's your experience?

While I have only performed a handful of wedding thus far I have years of experience of performing on stage with bands, duos and as member of a choir/cast and as myself. See my bio for more info

Do you have your own equipment?

Yes

Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?

Yes, i only need to make sure there is a power outlet for my PA system! That is all!

Can you travel?

Yes, i am happy to travel anywhere within the UK

Is there a charge for travelling?

Yes, after 20 miles or so I will have to charge a small cost

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

What is the length of time of the act?

That depends on what you want! I'm prepared for 2 hours of acoustic covers and then DJ into the night for a few hours too. I am always adding more songs to the repertoire so time frame is expanding

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

As much time as possible to triple check everything on the day as you can never be too careful. Usually if you give me a start time for performing I'll arrive between 60 to 90 mins early (to be safe)

Do you do open-air acts?

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Per event

If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

Yes

How do you charge extra time?

Depends if its an add on to the event e.g. staying to DJ on the spur of the moment, etc. If its just an extra hour because the day is running slowly that's fine and I wouldn't charge for that
