Jon Lowe is a full time professional Wedding DJ & Host, bringing over 20 years of experience to weddings across the North West and throughout the UK.
His approach is simple. It is YOUR wedding, so the music, atmosphere and way the day feels should reflect YOU.
There are no fixed wedding playlists and no assumption that every dancefloor needs the same songs. Jon takes the time to understand the music you love, the music you don't want to hear and the atmosphere you want to create. On the night, he reads the room and adapts naturally, playing the right music at the right time while staying true to what you have planned together.
Now in his 21st year in the industry, Jon performs at around 60 to 70 weddings each year and has been nominated for The Wedding Industry Awards 2027.
And when you book DJ Jon Lowe, you get Jon. He is the person you speak to, plan with and have there on your wedding day. There is no team of different DJs and nobody else is sent in his place.
Couples can book Jon for their evening reception or choose his full day Wedding DJ & Host service.
For evening weddings, Jon takes care of the planning, music, sound, lighting and hosting needed to keep the celebration flowing naturally.
For full day weddings, Jon can be there from the ceremony right through to the final song. This can include ceremony music, drinks reception music, wedding breakfast background music, microphones for speeches, introductions, announcements and hosting the key moments throughout the day.
Jon works closely with venues and other suppliers, helps keep timings on track and takes care of the flow without taking over the wedding. The aim is for couples to enjoy their day without having to worry about what is happening next.
Alongside weddings, Jon performs at corporate events, private celebrations and large UK events including Butlin's Big Weekends, as well as working with established entertainment teams including Girls That Mix and Maximum Music Events. This wide range of work keeps him experienced with different crowds, music styles and event formats.

Couldn’t have asked for a better DJ!
Jon is such a down-to-earth, genuinely lovely guy and made us feel completely at ease. On the night, he went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and worked brilliantly alongside all of our suppliers. He even coordinated with them to make sure the confetti cannons went off perfectly during our first dance, which made the moment so magical!
The music was fantastic, the atmosphere was incredible and the dance floor was full all night. So many of our guests commented on how brilliant he was.
We honestly couldn’t recommend Jon enough. He played such a huge part in making our wedding night so special and memorable. I only wish we could do it all again so we could have the pleasure of working with Jon all over again! Thank you so much for everything! ❤️

From the very beginning, Jon kept us informed and reassured us throughout the planning process, and that continued right through the wedding day itself. He had the perfect balance of professionalism, familiarity and fun, making us feel completely comfortable while knowing that everything was in very safe hands.
Jon gave us exactly what we wanted, whilst also offering his expert opinion whenever we wanted his guidance. He completely understood the kind of atmosphere we wanted to create, and the vibes were up all night! The music, atmosphere and energy were exactly what we had hoped for.
For the bigger moments of the day, such as our entrances and first dance, which could easily have felt chaotic or nerve-wracking, Jon made sure that both myself and my husband felt comfortable and knew exactly what was happening. He kept us calm, gave us clear guidance and made those moments feel effortless.
He also did an amazing job throughout the speeches, keeping the energy going between each one and making sure there were no awkward gaps. This might seem like a small thing, but it made such a difference to how smoothly the whole day flowed.
It genuinely felt like Jon was perfectly matched to our wedding. His setup, including all the lighting and equipment, was absolutely amazing and really added to the atmosphere and overall look of the evening. Everything looked incredible!
Jon also worked extremely well with all of our other suppliers and the venue, which made such a difference. Everyone was clearly on the same page, everything worked together perfectly and the whole day flowed so smoothly.

Wow, where do I even start? Jon was simply amazing as our wedding DJ! He had everyone up and dancing which is exactly what we wanted. We asked him to mix it up with different music genres to cater to our guests of all ages, and he nailed it!
Everyone had such a blast, and we got so many compliments on the music. Jon really knows how to read the crowd and keep the energy going.
It was a fab night, and we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ to lead the party. If you're planning a wedding or any event, definitely book Jon—you won’t regret it!
The Perfect Wedding DJ
My husband and I have music tastes not typical for a usual party and so we threw Jon under the bus by relying on him completely and he certainly delivered.
We had a varied range of guests and he catered to all tastes perfectly. They were raving about it from very early on in the evening. I believe he even recognized certain dance moves from my man of honour and played the song associated with it, showing how in tune with the guests he was.
We're so thankful for his efforts that meant everyone had a blast and the evenings festivities will be long remembered by all!
