Last update: February 2026

Hailing from Yorkshire, but now based in the South, Crissi on Sax is passionate about creating atmosphere and memories for each wedding and couple - she brings energy, soul, and a love for performance into every space she plays in, whether it’s a high-energy wedding evening party, a chilled Ibiza-style drinks reception, or a smooth jazz set as you sign the register, she’ll bring that extra something to your event!
She started professionally gigging in 2015 around the North East and Yorkshire, before she spent a year performing in Hong Kong for corporate events and weddings in 2018. She is a classically trained clarinettist and a passionate saxophonist and has shaped her career around adaptability, professionalism, and heartfelt performance. She has played in a number of groups and ensembles, from big band jazz ensembles to function bands and evenings, bringing the energy to the dance floor with a number of vibrant wedding DJ agencies (which is where she thrives!). Every couple and crowd is different, and she takes pride in working closely with the couple to make sure that everything is catered to them, and their guests have the best time!
She loves playing a range of genres, including House, Ibiza chill-out, Jazz, Pop, Soul, Funk, and Easy Listening, and is happy to play whichever style suits each wedding party. She has an ability to blend strong musicianship with sensitivity and flair - she brings a polished, professional presence to every performance. She is as committed to the small details as she is to the big moments!
She is also passionately committed to fostering an inclusive space for LGBTQ+ individuals and neurodivergent communities, with a focus on accessibility and representation in all aspects of her work.
With multiple weddings, parties, corporate events, festivals, and live gigs under her belt, she is no stranger to working closely with clients, adapting to different setups, and delivering exactly what’s needed—plus a little extra something. She brings a personal touch, a high standard, and a genuine love for making people feel good through sound. If you’re looking for a saxophonist who’s as flexible as she is passionate, she would love to bring that energy to your wedding – drop her a message to find out more, and let’s do this thing!
